Today's mass at the Vatican was celebrated in pre-vatican II order.... Any reason for that...

Sorry, i saw this late. can u share a link on it. i know the is an old altar in d basilica that is still fixed to the wall so dat any1 celebrating must face d altar. if dat is d place d mass took place then its not new previous popes have been doing dat. i believe it will still b d post vatican ii mass (novus ordo). the celebrant just faces d 'wall' cos of d way d altar is built.
