Exactly. ..and that is why Booooohari budgeted so much for his Ministry. To misinform and mislead with journalists like the ones you find on Channels
Not exactly. He doesn't really have to pay anybody to help him misinform the public. It's part of the things people do for the one they love.

yes the budget is not perfect and that's why its being debated at the senate but what does it have to do with the 1.9million votes in kano? what does the budget have to do with buhari's certificate, what does it have to do with whether someone won an election or not which was what onovo was hammering about, is it not a clear case of bitterness and painful loss in a miscalculated adventure?

The earlier you guys realise that most of PMB's critics are politically motivated to incite Nigerians against the present FG, the better for us. Few months ago we had terrible cases of fuel scarcity but its gone with the tactical removal of subsidy as if there was nothing at all, yet critics still say this FG lacks direction, I think its unfair, elections are over please

Speaking on 1.9 million voters, did you hear the question? Or are you quick to jump into conclusion. Watch from 6:07, the lady chanted "Vote for Change" and that's why he said, "Yes we voted, but did we really vote"? My interpretation: how can you chant "Vote for Change", yet Kano doesn't seem to have the same mantra of change, so where's the disconnect.

I did not hear about Buhari's certificate come up (I only watched Part 2 and 3 on YouTube), perhaps you can post the clip and I will watch it. Again, I did not watch the part whether anyone won or lost, the part I watched was Part 2 and three. This could have been Part 1, but then again I don't know.

Lmao... You mean the same "tactical" move in which GEJ wanted to remove subsidy is the same tactic employed by Buhari? Haha, the govt lacks clear "ECONOMIC" direction - Mr. Onov. Since I started following Nigerian Politics, I have never heard of a missing or retracted budget. I have never heard a budget presented 4 months after the deadline... Let's be real here, Buhari's critics are criticising him based on what they've seen.

I agree the election is over, but it doesn't seem like it's over for PMB and his team, it's full of accusation, it started from Saraki to GEJ to Dasuki to Metuh and the list is endless, even Jesus Christ was accused. Several months later after being sworn in, we don't have a "CLEAR ECONOMIC direction on where we are let alone where we're going. Tell me, how are we supposed to dig ourselves out of this mess? The sooner this administration seats up and get to work, the better.

Most of the negative comments are from those of the same geo-political zone as Onovo. He turned out to be a critic that had no solution to the policies he was criticizing. He was very shallow in his contributions and the sunrise presenters stood up to him and did not allow him use their First Class station to churn out propaganda. He was cornered by the presenters like a frightened rat and he turned rude and aggressive like his brother Metuh.

Exactly only the wailers will disagree

You are sounding as emotive as Onovo, makes me suspect you hail from the same ethnicity as him (which seems to be the basis of support most politicians get).

1. The question he asked about 1.9M votes is blanket and misleading. First, he assumes there were no voided votes but that's not what the figures posted by INEC claims. Second, he uses Kano as an example but not Rivers state or Akwa-Ibom that were FAR too glaring and nationally recognised as marred with rigging. Third, he makes a case for underage voters but seems to imply it is for APC when no evidence exists to support such a stance.

And to think of the fact that he got there by implying that elections didn't hold at all and as such PMB has a fake mandate.

Maupe was right by saying we voted change. She is right because the declared WINNER of the election ran on a campaign mantra that screamed CHANGE. She wasn't being partisan.

2. That you claim you didn't hear PMBs cert issue come up shows you are towing the same line of incredulity that Onovo tried to play when he was called out for implying that he didn't believe in the judiciary. Onovo alluded to it by saying it would've been a WASTE if he had gone to the courts to question the elections. This simply means he doesn't believe in the courts AKA He doesn't believe in the judiciary.

The PMB cert issue was implied furtively when he said Mike Ozekhome went to court to challenge the validity of PMBs candidacy. Manny4life, incase you do not know, Mike Ozekhome went to court on behalf of PDP to argue that PMB had no cert and should be rendered invalid as far as being the presidential candidate for APC. So yes, that was how Onovo alluded to it.

3. The part of a budget being presented 4 months and you not having heard of it calls for concern as to whether you know about Nigeria or if you just type willy nilly. I cannot remember more than twice in GEJs 6 years that his budget (that he never presented to the NA BTW) wasn't months late.

Stop playing politics and trying to feign your concern for Nigeria. You are still bitter that GEJ lost the elections. The constant talk about economic direction is becoming hackneyed and played out. Even mentioning Dasuki and Metuh already shows where you stand- oblivious of reality and bitter.

If I hadn't watched the video I would have thought the man made some sterling statements previously unheard.

He simply sounds pained about the loss of his benefactors or otherwise.

Yes, at the beginning he spoke about recurrent expenditure and government borrowing which was the area he should have elucidated upon without politicising.

It is incumbent upon the moderators, as they always do, to lean to the other side on political matters to ensure neutrality and in this case they did.

The Onovo man hasn't said anything worth shouting from the rooftop.

This is the usual back to back wailing and gnashing of teeth from those who gave you hits such as -

Where is your certificate?

Buhari can never rule this country.

Jega should be removed and heaven would not fall.

1. 5 million votes in Kano? How?

Thy should move on or embrace the change that is here and would not go any time soon.

Reality is here.

Watching Onovo got me pained with the Nigerian populace. How come this caliber of intelligent people don't make it through the presidential elections except people that we have to put up with their countless gaffes both in words and policies

Not even the intelligent Maupe and her intellectual goons could box him to a corner - that tells me that unlike Jonathan, he would have outsmarted witty advisers and also avert being tied to corrupt budget/policies like the case of Buhari. undecided

if channelstv listen,by now maupe should be moved to another desk.i have once being at the receiving end of her highly alarming approach to guests and was a bit relieved to know channels seems to be listening to all u guys as you make your honestly held comments.maupe goes about it as if she is in a competition where u must outrun the next fellow.this may be the thread that will see her compulsorily on her next desk or her next training.sulaiman, like someone rightly said is really a wonderful interviewer and like someone said here chamberlain sarcastic smiles is all that is needed for chamberlain to drive his own point home.maupe is a very promising chap, wish i can be involved in making her a balanced interviewer far better than than amanpour.i note many Nigerians are still bitter about how she dragged the oga on top fellow on the floor.and to be honest im forever against her on that score, that was not journalism at all.last time on channels i did note as i was coming in live, she was exiting the stage leaving only sulaiman and chamberlain,THUMBS UP TO CHANNELSTV.seems they really do listen.

If i hadn't seen the video, i would have thought the Onovo nigga said something quite logical, he has his way with oratory and smooth face that can easily deceive the superficial and unsuspecting. The only time he came close to making sense was when he talked about reduction in numbers of ministries and still increased in recurrent expenditure, but it still failed in logics. Will cases like plan of the ministry of education to recruit 500,000 teachers not shoot up recurrent expenditure?, even plan to build 10,000 primary health centres will hit recurrent expenditure , as it is not lizards and rats that will run those centres. My point in essence is that a cut in the number of ministries does not necessarily translate to reduction in recurrent expenditure.

I agree that the 2016 budget draft has some loopholes, it is called a draft because it is expected the national assembly has a work to do on it, and if they do their job well, there would be improvement on it. More importantly, FULL implementation of the budget is key.
