Intact as I walked out a tear dropped my tired eyes... Tired from all the sleepless night of reading nairaland. Mind you Alot of pple did lot get visa from this same woman, but she gave the guy before me. She's was mild and utmostly friendly. The other 4 guys and one black American where just having a denial party today.....

At the end.. NA God sure pass. Just to add... I had no travel experience I only have an SA visa unused from 5years ago.

Good evening everyone. I tried booking online for a journey to Chicago but was surprised when I checked the itinerary and discovered that the jouney back to Lagos from Chicago will be a long one. On Qatar airways it's 21 hrs from Chicago to Doha. Then some 12 or 13 hrs to Lagos from Doha. It's worse on Emirate airline. Then I ask is this how people do it? Traveling from Lagos to Benin alone dey make my leg swell let alone a distance of 21 hrs. Na wa o. I discovered it's faster while going than while coming. Am I missing something? I need some education.

Bro you can fly direct by using delta or united but you should know that the BIG Middleeast airlines (ME3) are cheaper and with good soft product so you have to bear with the long waiting time at the airport.

Please, what category of court divorce certificate from nigeria is acceptable in the US for a remarriage? Is a Nigeria Magistrate or Customary court divorce certificate acceptable, or must it be from a High Court ?

If you look closely you'll discover that coming back from Chicago to Doha on Qatar airlines takes more than 21 hrs. How does one sit in a plane for 21 hrs. I dey fear o. If na only me I no go mind but I'm going with children and wiffy. To make matter worse, the layover after that journey is like 12 or 13 hrs before leaving for MMA Lagos. How do people do this. Na wa o. I thought Emirates will be better but it's only a little different from Qatar airlines. I think that one na like 18 or 19 hrs. Do you get my drift now?

A magistrate does not have the jurisdiction to make an order decree nissi (divorce)
A customary court can only be involved in divorce proceedings if the marriage was contracted customarily eg only Igba nkwu/Wine carrying.
So by process of elimination and the Law in existence, yes a High court Judge is the court that has jurisdiction to dissolve a marriage after certain conditions are met.

Thank you. It did not occur to me I could stay for one or two days in Dubai before proceeding to Chicago. So is there a way I could book a flight ticket in Nigeria that can cover that itinerary? I mean a ticket that will allow me wait for two or three days in Dubai before proceeding to Chicago. Thank you for your useful advice and interventions.
