OYIBN:
Most of the negative comments are from those of the same geo-political zone as Onovo. He turned out to be a critic that had no solution to the policies he was criticizing. He was very shallow in his contributions and the sunrise presenters stood up to him and did not allow him use their First Class station to churn out propaganda. He was cornered by the presenters like a frightened rat and he turned rude and aggressive like his brother Metuh.

onye ofe. Are you sure you watched the interview?

I watched Onovo during the presidential debate where he demonstrated intelligence and progressive ideas as to how to find soltions to some of our problems. This interview as far I am concerned potrays him as an arrogant man who thinks only his approach to issues can move Nigeria forward. He is also bitter about losing an election he had no chance of winning.

When you meet an intelligent person you will know. Mr Onovo certainly ezposed the lack of depth in those Channels TV personnel particularly that hyped Maupe and Suleiman. Onovo rubbished them totally he exposed their lack of research into issues and also their partisanship.
These care the type of intelligent men Nigeria needs not weak bones just awaiting the call of nature.

I'm sorry to say but Liar Muhammed is probably paying Maupe and
some other Channel's crew a second salary

Based on the way she was behaving by trying to defend the obvious I will say I believe you bro.

was surprised like you. I continue to ask myself must everyone be in APC

Ah so you don't know that when the APC people are disgraced and cornered like the Channelstv crew they will quickly say they are ipob or wailers just to make them self happy meanwhile the truth is right there before them. SMH for some zealots.

This is typical IPOB analysis

An APC politician from Katsina was arrested by EFCC and charged to court for Corruption.

Senator Sanni from Zamfara is in the APC and he is currently facing trial for corruption. You dont see Northerners shouting and defending them.

Olu Falae, Bode George are Yorubas and you dont see the SW supporting them

But immediately Metuh was arrested, all sorts of groups started shouting on the internet calling for his release, despite evidence that he was involved in corruption under Jonathan.

A man gave out $2million in cash in his house. What do you want the government to do? Ignore it?

Remi Tinubu is entitled to her opinion and for your info, she was referring to the women in IDPs and not Nigeria as a whole.

For your digestion, Falae and George have not been arrested. Sen. Sanni and the likes are not behind bars, My Man stop being an hyprocrite. Admit when you see a fault. How many APC members have been dragged to court or custody even when evidence obviously shows that they embezzled e.g Fashola, Amaechi, Ogbe or whatever and the likes but instead they become Ministers. Nigeria needs healing and pple like you would do us no good.

All what martin onovo was doing in this interview was politics, he is one of those who is yet to move on after the elections. All his views were more personal than the issues he was suppose to talk about

Nice one. He is a bitter man. I dont even know he contested.

Onovo is just a sore loser. He only made some correct points but he allowed his bitterness and shallow mind over shadow all his logic points. How can he say there was no void votes in Kano and not say anything about the electoral fraud in SE and some part of SS. He is pathetic.

A fundamental question Onovo asked which Maupe and a lot of Nigeria cannot answer as of today is 'what is the the economic direction of the government'?
As seemingly clueless as the Jonathan govt, we at least know about the Transformation agenda and how every parastatal of govt where fully incorporated in it.

There was absolute nothing amusing about the interview, all Mr Onovo did was paried the questions and throw it back at the presenters. So whats the fuss about that?

what is intelligent about a man, who is always paraphrasing peoples word to suite his opinion? Intelligent people quote others verbatim and not paraphrased them.

They should take such documents to court. Its that simple. They can rely on the EFCC act. No time for senseless wailers trying to derail the fight against corruption in this country.

Btw, what are you saying on Falae and Bode George? You not clear enough.

youre on point but edit the bold word ( for not or ). That man really did well and the presenters ask question with out caring to listen before asking another question. Asking stupid questions like 'are you pained because you lost ? thats a rhetoric question.

"There is no amount of revenue that is enough or a visionless and wasteful government" - Martin Onovo.

This quote is what all well meaning Nigerians need to take away from this interview. Our governments have been wasteful since 1978.
I don't give a ratzazz about Maupe. She has never impressed me.

YOU CLAIM HE IS STUBBORN, BUT YOU DON'T SEE THE PRESENTERS COMING AT HIM AS IF THEY WERE APC REPS. WHEN ONOVO SAID, LACK OF FISCAL DIRECTIVES IS THE CAUSE BEHIND OUR ECONOMIC WOES ACCORDING TO CBN. MAUPE ARGUED WITH HIM WELL THIS IS THE SOURCE http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/lack-of-fiscal-directives-behind-current-economic-woes-cbn/ . WE'VE ALSO SENT IT TO MAUPE VIA HER TWITTER HANDLE, SO SHE'LL STOP ARGUING IGNORANTLY
I hope Maupe has a laugh, a very big laugh at a growing vanguard of ignorance following Onovo.
The panel has to keep asking him the same questions because because Onovo was re-creating definitions! Our economic woes in Nigeria, is more of corruption. Even in the face of rational fiscal policies, the system is filled with rent-takers, and middlemen who just dip their sticky fingers in the cookie jar.
The panelists may have been confounded by Onovos naivety in terms of his his ignorant and dogmatic arguments of economic principles.
6-months down the line, if and when Onovo comes to his senses, he will reverse himself!

onye ofe. Are you sure you watched the interview?
Actually, I watched the video expecting to see very sound economic arguments. What I found was the script written for a Nollywood scene. If the panelists were truly confounded at the arguments by Onovo as was reported in social media, then I guess I should also go for interview at CNN
