The Senate yesterday went on recess will resume February 25th and slated that day for the passage of the 2016 appropriation bill.

Considering the distance of that day and with our conviction that it is the budget that is delaying the NYSC in setting date for the orientation camp.

Aren't we on a long thing or what do you think

Pls I need answers to the following questions, thank you for your kind response.

1. Can I choose the 3 states from the same region (Ondo, Ekiti, Osun from southwest region) or it has to be one state per region?

2. I live in Lagos, schooled in Ibadan and I'm Delta, will this affect my choice of states? i.e. Will i be able to choose any of these states?

3. What are the documents(papers) and how many copies do I need to take to camp? Is school IDcard needed because i still have my 300L IDcard with me, I've not collected my final year IDcard because it's not ready, dunno why undecided

4. What kind of white tops and knickers are needed and how many will be reasonable to bring along. What other things should I take along, heard stapler,gum,etc is important, what are the other things needed?

5. How is stream 1 and stream 2 determined by NYSC?

There are many factors to consider...but I'll limit it to saying that the slated date for the passage of the 2016 budget bill will not affect us... Because, NYSC PRS would order for loan from the CBN to kickstart the event.

No not really since the day is slated for passage into law only, then the subcommittee would have been continuing with their underground scrutiny of the details of the Budget, and NYSC WOULD BE AWARE OF IT DEFENCE DATE BEFOREHAND WHICH WOULD GUIDE IT IN FINALISING ON THE REMAINING PENDING DATES ON THE TT

Budget or no Budget;
I think the issue of inconclusive TT arose as a result of the initial unofficial TT.

Dont u think its unethical to have seen what hasn't be offfically pronounced by an institution of such caliber? "It's like seen the annual budget of a country b4 the president airing to the citizenry through the median".

They(NYSC) are trying to regained their pedigree as a corporate organisation.
All things being equal, i believe we're still camping by either 1st-2nd week of march and in no condition shall we go to camp in April, IMO tho.

Calm down bro, All Roads Lead To Camp, Comes March.

You can't chose these three states from the same region... It has to be one from each of the geo-plolitical zone.. Eg: south-south, south-east, south-west, ect.

It won't affect your choice of state if you do a little shuffling... Selecting from one geo-political zone.

You'll need your certificate or statement of result, an ID-card, the green letter that will be printed alongside your call up letter (most people say it isn't really relevant though). Most importantly, carry ALL your certificates. Your 300L ID-card will be accepted as you'll be given an ID-card that you'll use through out your serving year.

4. What kind of white tops and knickers are needed and how many will be reasonable to bring along. What other things should I take along, heard stapler,gum,etc is important, what are the other things needed?

Just a white round neck polo.. Either luc polos or BYC or the likes. The knickers could be any fabric but wool and cotton fabric will do and it must be around your knee level. A reasonable number of it is dependent on you. Use your keen perception.

I'll quote you to drop other items needed... Seperately from this post.

5. How is stream 1 and stream 2 determined by NYSC?

That is not known by anybody... Some will say, it's based on the numbers of PCMs needed in each
camp.

1. Call up letter(Original&10 Photocopies)
2. School I D card(Original&10 Photocopies)
3. Notification of Result(Original&10 Photocopies)
4. Passport photographs (About 10-15 copies)
5. Stationery e.g pen, Jotter for lectures,
stappler&tippex.
(Note:- The 1st 4 are for registration&do not
laminate your
call-up letter pls)
6. Round necked white T shirt atleast 3
7. White shorts atleast 2
8. Plain white sneakers/tennis shoes(rubber) (1)
9. White socks atleast 2pairs
10. Mosquito treated net (to guide your
belongings)
11. Basic drugs panadol,paracetamol,etc (not
necessary
because it will be available at the NYSC clinic)
12. Padlocks
13. Waist pouch
14. Beverages
15. Dettol, bath soap&Detergents (if you don't
wanna spend
for washing)
16.Towel&face towel
17. A pair of slippers
18. Bedsheets
19. Flashlight (Torchlight phone)
20. Food flask, bowl and cup
21. Sunglasses
22. Extra phone batteries and charger
23. Cash from N10,000 upward( if you want to
