Nigeria Would’ve Collapsed Had Officials Of My Govt Stole That Much As Alarmed – Jonathan “Jonathan said the allegation was the same way somebody stated that $49.8 billion was missing, which he later said was $12 billion and later $20 billion, saying when the issue was raised by the German chancellor with him in a meeting, he told the foreign leader that if such amount of money was missing in Nigeria, the country would collapse” That was a quote from the Daily Sun Newspaper where it was said that the former President Goodluck Jonathan opined that Nigeria would have collapsed had officials of his government had stole that much as being peddled by some quarters. http://www.newspunch.org/nigeria-wouldve-collapsed-had-my-govt-stole-that-much-as-alarmed-jonathan/ |

Well, I think with the little that is missing, Nigeria is not far from collapsing if the new Government does not get it right and recover as much as possible. 13 Likes |

It's not rocket science. Money from oil revenues were under declared or stolen at the point of source by those in charge. Basically, they were stopped before being fed into the system. Hence why it's still baffling to him at the type of stealing going on under his nose because he knew very little as President. Proof of oil lifted as was spotted in even the limited PWC audit (for example) were not commensurate with funds repatriated to the Government, yet still doesn't understand. About the supposed $2 billion, no one worth a brain believes it got lifted just like that, but by goodness! The hardware bought were never close to reaching that number. Bottom line is some of the security funds got diverted to unintended purposes. 'Does he understand all this?' 30 Likes 1 Share |

What did Nigeria do wrong in the education sector to have produced an educated dunce like Jonathan? Was the education of the 1970s and 1980s that poor? Is Nigeria not collapsing already? Why is this Jonathan dude such an unrepentant enemy of the Nigerian state? When Pastor Tunde Bakare proclaimed then very early in the Jonathan regime, that Jonathan's destiny was to bankrupt and balkanize Nigeria, I thought he was just being a lousy prophet. Nigeria on the brink, everyone including Cramjones knows this except Jonathan. 27 Likes 3 Shares |

PwC's audit report supports many of Sanusi's allegations. The auditors found that the total gross revenues generated from the federal government of Nigeria crude oil liftings was $69.34bn from January 2012 to July 2013. The total cash remitted into the government's accounts in relation to crude oil lifting was $50.81bn, leaving $18.53bn unaccounted for. The report raised serious questions about the level of transparency and corporate structure of the national oil company. http://www.internationalaccountingbulletin.com/news/pwc-forensic-report-on-oil-revenues-unveils-nigerias-demons-4570423 7 Likes |

Who or what gives NNPC the right to withhold nearly 30% of the money it receives on behalf of Nigeria and then spend it as it wishes? Here we have a goat locked in a room alone with a yam and no one to supervise what’s going on. PwC’s opinion is that this practice of withholding money and then spending as it sees fit is highly dubious and that the NNPC act needs a legal opinion to determine whether it has the right to do this. What stops NNPC (the goat) from withholding 50% of revenues (the yam) and then telling us later that it spent it on one thing or the other? Based on this, nothing. http://aguntasolo.com/2015/04/29/this-yam-this-goat-this-country-part-1/ lalasticlala, Come and see GEJ's international lie. 4 Likes |

That source though; anyway, this is the same way he said 'stealing is not corruption' in the past. What he is saying is that the amount of money is not enough to cripple the country and that it is just propaganda.....................Very soon, he will talk himself into issues and holes will be picked in his comments. 2 Likes |

In what way can you congratulate her for the four or five years she has now spent in office? CharleyCharley: Hating an enemy of the Nigerian state is a patriotic act. Why should I love a dunce who continues to remind us of why we sacked him? Is it a lie that he was a criminal president who supervised the embezzlement of state funds? Let him continue to soar higher without taking Nigeria down in the process. When he is finally arrested like his criminal accomplices have, you will finally wake up from your delusions that claims of propaganda is not a defence against criminal prosecution. 3 Likes |

When there was steady light after May 29th, they cheered Buhari, when light became epileptic they blamed Jonathan. Wow! GEJ don't seize to amaze. Even with all these confession and returning of loots, this man is still living in denial. I blame OBJ for all this mess. He would have allow this man to continue in his state which was all he ever hoped and prepared for. In other words, I hope they start spending all the recovered loots on developmental projects now. Keeping it in the treasury will do us no good as another prodigal son will soon come and waste it again. 3 Likes |
