How does wire transfers to say other African countries work in Nigeria, are they all denominated in Dollars or one can source alternative foreign currency that may not be more expensive than the more obvious ones of £, $ and Euro?

Can't one wire funds to a different African country that can then send to other countries like the UK. I can't access anymore funds through my private sources as expended a few hundreds already but need more and just wondering. If not, it'll be via BDCs.

Carried out a $5.50 online transaction with sterling bank visa card today and was debited 1,571.40. From my calculation, it turns out to be 285.7 per $1.

Hello house, please I'm trying to link my GTB and stanbic naira master cards to Mt Nigerian PayPal account. and it's not going through.

I'm getting the error message that: "card can't be linked", when I try registering either.

I was previously using Diamond bank Visa card, and it now gives the error message:" card has been blocked by issuer". I have appropriate funds in all the cards.

I have been trying to reach specific company's customer care service for eons now, no response. Can anyone assist please? Thank you.

Another question guys. Please whats Standard Chartered's rate like. For web payments. What was your last dollar rate equivalent. Do they have good rates(As per foreign bank, just as stanbic has)

Do not pay for flights online again. Go to the airline office and pay official rate. If the airline has an office in naija. You just lost alot of money.

Then purchase bitgold worth 0. 001grams. Thats abat $0. 04. When charged , just calculate d diffrence of previous balance nd present balance.

You decide to be charged in any currency of your choice.

This way you can know what ur bank charge you.

Note. 0. 001gram of gold is abat N10 or so.

If N10 is not a big deal for you to get this info real time then go ahead and try it.
