Lol. These obtuse loafers and paid hacks know better than to question my Yorubaness cos they all know I'm more Yoruba than they will ever be. Being Yoruba is about being ingrained in the virtues of the Yoruba ancestors who placed priorities on excellence, hard work, and creativity - not mediocrity and lack of achievements.

The only thing these folks are good for is waving non-existent and castrated dycks with Igbos about which of the two regions is more backward. Apart from that, they're just as useless as the walking utter failure of leaders they exalt.

Ogun state is a disgrace. I've been trying to collate pictures of the state for weeks now and there's absolutely nothing presentable to post from the state. Heck, even Ondo and Ekiti are far ahead of the state in terms of infrastructures. And as bad as Ibadan is, it's light years ahead of Ogun state. Yet this clown is posting pictures of lousy projects and companies.

Based on how decent the architecture of the old buildings in Abeokuta looks - I'd even wager that Ogun state in 1920 when those buildings were still new should be better than what it's today. Yet the state like all the other Yoruba states are swimming in an ocean of debts. It's just shameful and pathetic.

OGUN TO COMPLETE ALL ON GOING PROJECTS

The State Government has expressed its readiness to complete Ibafo/Mowe/Ofada road before the end of the month.

This assurance was given by the Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives and leader of ‘Gang 2’ of the 40th Anniversary project of Ibafo/Mowe/Ofada road, Hon. Gbenga Adenmosun during an inspection tour to the site.

‘’The road will be ready for use by end of the month, as contractors are working day and night to ensure its completion. I wish to inform you that Government has completed payment to accomplish this,’’ Ademosun said.

While giving reports on the progress of the road reconstruction, the site Engineer, Mr Yuan Lee stated that 6.8Km out of 8.3Km of the road had been completed on one lane, while 1km out of 8.3km on the second lane had also been completed.

Lol. Don't mind the clowns. They get paid and the money they spend is the commonwealth of the people...so why can't they perform? No excuse whatsoever. The funds they expend in paying all these blinkered rats all over the internet and publicity can fix a lot of problems. When you are an achiever - ya achievements will speak for you without noise making by spamming lousy and mediocre projects all over cyberspace. An eye test alone shows that the projects are substandard and mediocre. So what is the point?

They better start begging Lagos to start sending new projects/investments to the state, just to give it a facelift and help it in creating wealth - cos the state is a disgrace. Ogun must be cursed with terrible leaders to look the way it looks in 2016. Based on eye test alone - it might be the worst Yoruba state in terms of infrastructures.

*yawn* undecided....wake me up the day Ogun state decides to invest in its waterside properties, or the day it decides to launch ferries to take advantage of its coastlines, and move people from the hectic, congested Ogun high density border towns to Lagos. Ehm, you can also wake me up the day the state government decides to overhaul its healthcare system by building world-class diagnostic centres, trauma centres or treatment facilities within its general hospital premises. sad Ordinary blood bank is difficult for them to maintain..! cry

Until then, all these mini estates built by private property developers on the outskirts of Lagos along the Ogun state boundary communities is nothing but a way to whitewash the ineptitude of the Ogun state government, when it comes to provision of decent infrastructure...

Yes there are brown roofs in Abeokuta and the whole of Yoruba land and do you know why? It is because yoruba land is among the first sets of African tribes to taste civilization. We were already building houses covered with roofing sheets while your grandfather was still living in thatched-roof houses and tying wrapper to fight medieval clan wars!

I don't remember saying it's a government project and last time I checked, the thread still says Ogin In Focus and even if I might add, government policies and attitude towards investments generates such investments.

So why didn't your last post state categorically that it was NOT a govt project? shocked The same Arepo that lacks good roads and pipe-borne water, is the one you are trying to show off as a well-developed community? The same Amosu promised 2 years ago that Ofada-Mowe roads & power project would be completed in a few months. What happened? We are tired of fake promises being recycled on the pages of newspapers, please. sad

And what govt policies and attitudes did Amosun govt promulgate to help the private developers of Grenadines Estate carry out their project? Abeg, don't tell us he issued them with C of O. That is govt's statutory responsibility. Any figure-head can do thatundecided

Stop trying to paint Amosu as an achiever, when all of us who know Ogun State inside out are quite aware he is a mediocre performer. E don do! sad
