Henry240:

1. Irrelevant argument

So an argument about you using your civilian radar for military applications without IFF is irrelevant?

Henry240:

2. Yet the Syrian regime backed by 4 + months of Russian airstrikes has gained more territory than 2000 bombs dropped on kobani or the 20+ months of American led coalition airstrikes in Syria.

It's not even a contest, even a blind person can see who's more accurate

So apart from the fact that in the year 2015 you are saying bumb bombs are more accurate

Lets look at what you just said, lets analyze your idi.otic opinion:

Number of NATO airstrikes: 3,000
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/dec/01/syria-airstrikes-everything-you-need-to-know

Number of Russian airstrikes: 42,234
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/11/syria-monitoring-groups-russian-air-strikes-kill-400-civilians-151122063024984.html

So congratulations on comparing an apple to an orange

Henry240:

4. The 40 year old ammos completed what is one of the world's fastest military operations.

So you are saying its ok then to supply your men with ammunition that is old and faulty grin grin grin

Henry240:

5. I'm not going to repeat myself, go read up on the debate.

All you ever do is repeat yourself.

Henry240:

NAF has over 100 aircrafts operational

Not according to your military:

the status of NAF fleet remained operationally appalling as only 3 Alpha-Jets, 2 C-130H and one each of Mi-24V and Mi-35P were serviceable as at 28 May 15.

Henry240:

50% of a fleet of 500 vessels still leaves the Navy with 250 vessels. The Navy has also added 100 vessels from local and foreign suppliers

Problem is that you do not have a fleet of 500 vessels. The first time we heard about this fleet of "500 vessels" was when we first exposed the pathetic state of your navy - and then you cooked up this ridiculous number of vessels.

Fact is that less than 50% of your fleet is sea-worthy, your sailors cannot swim and you have no multi-spectrum training

Military equipment, the Nigerian military has more amoured vehicles than the SANDF. Each soldier carriers 6 MAGs, and we have the best military hospitals in SSA where both military and civilians receive free and/or cheap health-care.
SANDF has more Ratels alone than Nigeria has armored vehicles in its entire arsenal.

Hundreds of sources confirm that your men are only deployed with 60 rounds.

Free healthcare? Dont make me laugh!!

Army medics refused to pay the $200 for medicine to treat his injuries. Morale in the army is sinking, he says.

Your men even have to buy their own uniforms:

"The troop morale is actually very low, very low, because we are not issued a uniform, we buy the uniforms ourselves," he explained.

Henry240:

Utility vehicles such as the Hilux and Ranger are an important part of warfare. SANDF special forces only had light skinned pick-up trucks in the CAR, your special forces in the DRC also drive around in light skins.

Recces in Goma had Gecko's, Recces in DRC in light armored vehicles are the close-protection detail attached to the Rooivalks... they dont leave the wire.

Your military is a broken, useless joke, if you could be a man and face facts like we South Africans do maybe you could do something about it. But instead you choose to full your head with delusions and so your military will remain the useless rabble that it is forever.

UNBELIVIABLE THAT THIS MASSACRE ONLY HAPPENED IN NOV 2015....WHEN PRESIDENT BUHARI WAS TELLING THE WORLD THAT BOKO HARAM IS TECHNICALLY DEFEATED (WHAT EVER THE TERM MEANS)

Nigerian Online Newspaper, Premium Times had reported that at least 105 soldiers attached to the 157 battalion went missing after they came under intense attack from Boko Haram insurgents in Gudunbali, Borno State, on Wednesday morning.

Nigeria has a new government, but Boko Haram is deadlier than ever and in their attempt to cover up the setback suffered by its troops in a recent battle with the extremist Boko Haram sect and discredit PREMIUM TIMES exclusive report on the matter, senior officials of the Nigerian Army have made at least four contradictory statements in the last 24 hours.

But reliable military insiders confided that the terrorists captured a T-72 tank as well as several artillery weapons from the unit. A Nigerian soldier who spoke anonymously to BBC Hausa said that they were tired of 'dying like fowl'.

An international report monitored by Elombah.com reveals that Boko Haram has overtaken Isis as the world’s most deadly terrorist organisation.

The GBU-12 Paveway II is an American guidance kit, turning a Mk 82 500-pound general-purpose bomb into a laser-guided air-to-ground "smart" bomb. The kit consists of a nose-mounted laser seeker and tail fins for guidance and control.

A high degree of accuracy is achieved when an operator (either airborne or ground-based) illuminates a target with a laser designator. The bomb is then guided to a spot of laser energy reflected from the target. When a target is illuminated by a laser, the guidance fins react to signals from the laser seeker in the nose and steers the weapon to the target. Wings on the tail provides lift and the aerodynamic stability necessary for in-flight maneuvering.

The SAAF has already ordered the Rafael/Zeiss Litening III laser designation pod (LDP) for us eon the Gripen C single-seat and D dual-seat fighters.

The Gripen has already been cleared to use the Litening III with the GBU-12 Paveway II laser guided bomb. This provides Gripens with a full night-attack/all-weather precision guided munition (PGM) capability.

According to Raytheon's fact sheet for the Paveway 2, 99 deliveries of guided munitions will yield a circular error probable (CEP) of only 3.6 feet, versus a CEP of 310 feet for 99 unguided bombs dropped under similar conditions.

This is a high-drag, straight cylindrical 19-tube reusable 70mm launcher designed for helicopter use. It is used in conjunction with theTDA FZ 70 mm FFAR rocket system.

It is 1.93 m long when fitted with an optional removable rear fairing. It has a body diameter of 402 mm and weighs between 252 and 256 kg depending on model type when loaded with 19 rockets equipped with FZ 71 warheads.

Interface is by standard NATO 14" MS3314 lugs, for capture in a MIL-STD-2088 compliant rack.

Used on:
Rooivalk (4 x underwing)

The SAAF used the Vicon 18 Series 601E reconnaissance pod on the Cheetah and the pod has also been cleared for use on the Hawk.

The pod provides low altitude tracking and stand-off photography as well as medium and high, long range oblique and vertical photography

Actually 0 of my relatives live in Australia, but if it makes you feel better, i used to live there when I was younger, but that was only due to my Dad's work engagements.... and even after living there for 2 years my dad didn't even consider the possibility of emagrating from SA.

Even my sister, who under Australian law is a Australian citizen as she has was born there, doesn't even want to move there.

Lastly, what if I told you that almost 400 000 white expats have returned to South Africa?

Go dië of envy, you import rocket pods for SAAF jets, NAF staff makes our own at home !

It is a copy or licence produced of a pod already integrated on the Alpha jet.

SAAF jets don't use unguided aerial rockets.

Fool, can Libyan rebels re-configure a jet fighter to use rocket pods? You think mounting imported rocket pods on Toyota is greater than computerizing a jet fighter to launch those rockets from pilots cockpit automatically?

BTWN, those Libyan rebels do NOT manufacture any rocket pods, they steal jet fighter rockets imported from Russia, steal them from Ghadaffi's air force bases and put them on Toyota.

NAF builds it's own rocket pods and they reconfigure a jet fighter to fire those rockets computer controlled, not the manual Toyota rocket pods of rebels.

Dummy, your brain cannot even tell the difference, reason why I said NO ZULU-BANTU-CAPE COLORED can build any technology equipment in South African defence industry, your industry is 80% European made and transferred to South African branches of white owned companies
