I don't care much for your grammar (no insult intended, please), however, I must say that you do look very beautiful (I got curious after reading your comment, so I clicked on your profile). Anyway, have a great day, lady.

The Reason why most IBO guys prefer making money before getting married is because they want to be able to cater for their family.

Take good care of their wife and children,

Romance or love without money cannot last, it leads to frustration and break up most times.

A responsible husband will do everything possible to provide for d family

As for Yoruba men they more romantic than IBOS. There is no doubt abt dat.

I have witnessed it alot

That is a lie, there is nothing better than building a family as a young couple and aiming for success. If a man finds himself established and then brings a woman in to raise his children she'll never be a true partner in the venture of life.

She is there to bear him beautiful children and raise them , a trophy wife. He may not values are intellectual input and may see her as acquired property.

Majority of Yoruba men know how to love a woman and show her love. If a Yoruba man loves his woman, he would treat her like a queen. Yoruba men are romantic. That's why you still see poor Yoruba men with loyal wives.

Majority of Igbo men aren't really romantic. Most of them think they are, but they actually aren't. They believe being romantic is by spending money on a woman, rather than showing her affection.
The average Igbo man would first acquire all the wealth he can acquire before thinking of going into a serious relationship, especially one aimed at marriage, because he believes that money is the most essential thing in a relationship, and that's a wrong notion.

And before people start calling me a tribal bigot, I am actually Igbo, but I always try as much as possible to always uphold the truth, irrespective of the tribe(s) involved.

Does the average Yoruba man marry before going to school, getting a job or starting a business? The problem with your position is this: if the average Igbo man marries first, without any form of financial back up, your type will still be the first to come online and tell the world how they don't plan like the Yorubas and other Nigerians. I will tell you why I say so.

Starting from the first republic, the then SE aligned with the north and the rest of Nigeria, except the SW. In the second republic, it was the same. In 1999, the current SE aligned with the north and the rest to elect a Yoruba man. This was against the wish of most people from SW, who voted for AD. Same thing happened in 2007, when they voted for the ruling party, which has always been their pattern.

In 2011, the majority of Nigerians voted GEJ in. We all know the voting pattern. At last came the elections of 2015. Again the SE voted for their party(PDP), and their candidate lost. Suddenly the SE became a laughing stock and learners in Nigerian politics. For all the years they voted or backed the winning horse, nobody gave them credit. And nobody criticized the south west for standing alone in opposition. Instead the SW got credit for their position, which in my opinion is more than well deserved.

My question is this: why is the SE getting the stick and being called names for being in the opposition? Is opposition only meant for the SW? Why the hypocritical treatment and double standards?

Until we remove Igbo this, Yoruba that, and the rest of the tribalistic tendencies from our national consciousness, we will always be divided. Funny enough, the solution is simple. Good leadership---remove state of origin and replace it with state of residence. That will go a long way in making everyone of us feel at home, wherever we may find ourselves in Nigeria.

All of them are not Yoruba boys.
They are men from different ethnic groups that have come to support and celebrate their friend on his special day.
To the best of my knowledge, Noble Igwe and Ebuka Uche Obi are not Yorubas, don't let the asoebi deceive you.

Besides, all Nigerians and West Africans have discovered the evils in Yoruba men and have labelled them Yoruba demons!
@those of them spewing rubbish.
This is about a wedding in Lagos,i don't know how these demons, foools, tribalists and illiterate manage to turn everything into Igbo vs Yoruba war.
They use Igbo swear for Una since 1914?

Are you married? If not, wait till you are. There's no best way to do it. Every marriage is unique, no matter the tribe.
