THE 5TH WAVE, well It was a nice movie, good one after seeing it @ d Theatre. Nevertheless, the ending was bit of a let down, cos I was like, what about the Armies who were supposedly used by "The Others", are they gonna get away with their crime just like that? Or Is this a sequel to possibly d next chapter? We'll find out.

Like I said earlier it's based on a book, it will be a trilogy (3rd book is coming out later this year).

Ok, my exact thoughts...knew there would be a sequel. Moreover, I've noticed a common theme and plot in most of these movies dat are done in d apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic settings. Movies like Hunger Games, Divergent series, Maze Runner and now The 5th Wave. 1) They Involve large number of young adults and Teens, 2) There's always a rebellion against d Authority, 3) There's always a virus spreading. 4) Like a post-apocalyptic setting, there's shortage of food and water 5) They all have their Book from which their stories are taken from in chapters. Just my observation though, a similar pattern.

Correction: There might not be a sequel, looks like someone put wrong stats when I was reading the info, it's tanked at the box office. It's only made $10 million over its budget & for a film to break even it needs to make double its budget.

Re-watching "REIGN OF FIRE" via a movie channel on dstv. A 2002 movie. I remembered dis movie so well..been a long time I saw. It's really a star-studded movie featuring Christian Bale and Co.

Dat movie had been downloaded in my PC for months now unattended to I can't say why, sure it looks like something cut out from the 90s, I'll give it a try, cos in d middle of last year it was even showing @ d Cinemas but I never bothered.

You are right, I later discovered dat I missed out on both movies. I think both would be shown probably before d middle of d year if I'm not mistaken.
I've confirmed frm a site, DeadPool would be released by February, Gods Of Egypt was initially set on February but rumours have it dat It might be shifted to April 2016.

According to what I read, Gods Of Egypt was made with a very huge budget of 150mill bucks, and was initially set to be released on d same month (Feb.) alongside "DeadPool", but d producers fear they may not be able to compete with "DeadPool" lol, so they shifted d movie to April.
