The Youths Of Nigeria Have To Wake Up! We Are Pawns In The Larger Scheme Of Thin by Nobody: 12:38pm On Jan 31, 2016 |
Good day people. As you all know, I used to be a prominent member of this section mainly engaged in ethnic e-wars against the igbo tribe in the guise of defending the Yorubas. Although I admit the igbos are a bit annoying, over the course of few months, I have has cause to reflect over my life and that of the children of the poor/ middle class in this country. My message here is simple: instead of wasting your time on nairaland fighting meaningless battles, why don't you/we make something of out lives. If anyone of us is observant and smart, you realise that in the real world, the rich don't give a Bleep about us. They inter-marry amongst themselves, go to the same schools, mosques and churches then turn us against ourselves. Bola tinubu or fashola have never done nothing for me, they have stolen for their unborn generations. Why should we young yorubas now turn around and fight the igbos on their behalf? I pass bourdillon daily on my way to court everyday and I see two new police vans in front of his house everyday, while I hardly see these new sedans in the whole of the main land of Lagos. The truth is that the only enemy of the masses in this country are the f.ucking elites, these bastards have carted away all our resources and sadly there is hardly nothing the masses can do. The situation is the same the world over, few people control the resources of this world because they have the right connections, education and belong to the right cult groups. Case in point are the retired generals we have in this country id est Obasanjo, T.Y. Danjuma, IBB, Abdulsalami and even buhari. The children of the masses are stuck on nairaland arguing and fighting while the rich have unrestricted access to our resources. There are dynasties everywhere and the skewed against the poor. The rich won't allow you marry their kids and expect you to remain in your station for life while they use the religious houses to keep us in check so we don't aim higher. We should never settle for less because these demons have decided in their covens that we would not rise. No matter the prayers you engage in, you would never rise above a certain station if you don't fight to break out of poverty. I went through the front page yesterday and I saw poor Yoruba youths ignorantly fighting over the superiority of yoruba culture over that of the igbos because Tolu toolz and tunde demurin got married glamorously and flamboyantly in the middle of a very tight and excruciating recession. These people never stopped for once to think where this couple came from: they came from wealth, generational wealth in short. Tunde demurin's father is Harold demurin, former DG of NAMA. Tolu comes from a royal Family somewhere in oniru and these people have stolen our money, I make bold to sat that. Demurin snr. Would ha e stolen us blind in NAMA before being kicked out of there by Jonathan's government. As for oniru family, they have sold land at exorbitant prices for generations and got rich in the process. What am i trying to bring out of all these? These rich people will continue marrying themselves because they know each other and are comfortable with each other, why don't we the youths quit doing rubbish on nairaland and better our lives? In this same wedding, I saw artistes from different backgrounds and they didn't care about tribe or religion. Only the poor and unenlightened fight about such inanities. I was sad seeing all that wealth on display and poor people commenting and liking those pictures, don't get me wrong, I ain't beefing anybody. I am only trying to jolt our youths from the deep slumber they are in. We need to dump this f.ucking site and focus on our lives. I make bold to say that I have never seen a successful person who spends majority of his/her time on social media. This same social media corrupts our youth and makes our girls want to be baby mamas to barely educated urchins who are fortunate to do good with their time and become celebrities. In all thy getting, get money. The society is corrupted and I fear irredeemable. Now it doesn't matter if you attend university and educated, all folks/ Nigerians wanna see is money. Sad isn't it? But that is the name of the game. What is the solution to all these? Quit nairaland and make something of yourself, this message goes to people like barcanista who feels he is some sort of star analyst on here. In the larger scheme of things you are a nobody to these blood suckers bro. Youths should try to be the best at what they do and join the right cults, yes the right cults because you can't make anything of your self if you are not connected. When we were in school, we refused to join the internet fraud craze and now I must say, it is a decision I partly regret because those boys saw the light and today, they are balling. I implore all discerning youths to abandon nairaland and face your life whilst also eschewing all forms of tribalism, the elites don't give a rat's ass about tribe or religion as long as you belong to the same cult whose main aim is to impoverish the poor. I welcome all criticisms as my submissions are not infallible. I hope I have ministered to somebody today. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I agree with you to "an extent" but you should channel that effort to your friends like super1star,omenka,tonyebarcanista,ngeneukwenu,coolitempa,(sachris,sachris02)and many more....these lots spend 20 out of 24hrs a day online, just to spew their crammed and memorized bigot statements on the igbos... Ethnicity never fell to this dept until after the 2015 election....a lot of hostile statements where directed at the igbos for simply exercising their rights to vote, even from respected so-called elites. Some even jubilated when soldiers where killing innocent and harmless protesters in the SE/SS....have they killed any protesters yet in Zaria? Let's see where it takes us,coz am not shielding my sword anytime soon.. And most importantly, you people should stay away from our women, thank you! 1 Like |

You one spoil Seun market abi? In any case, what you should realize is that life is a cycle. There will always be a new crop of ignorant fellows with enough time and MB to waste to fuel the anti-ethnic fights on NL. It's just the way it is. What you can do is sit back and watch them fuckers do themselves over. It is comical to say the least. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing you can do to avert the trend. You grew out of it. Some current e-warriors will also grow out of it eventually. -Lord 2 Likes |

vayne: Its just sad. All a young man should be concerned about is getting out of poverty. So many redundant youths who don't see the big picture. The elites are heartless. |

I think i agree with the OP. You are a southerner, an ambitious yoruba youth like the Igbos, Ijaws, Efiks e.t cs who are equally ambitious. The northern youth are not revolutionary, unlike the ambitious southern youth, the northern youth is laid back and believed that it is allah's making that he is poor but his thieving leaders who pauperize him should remain in power at all cost. He is hardly educated, the only education he gets is in the mosque where the same leaders and imam indoctrinate him to believe that all his problem begins with the southern christians. Deflecting the blame from his leaders. This is why there can not be a pan-Nigeria revolution. The East have a lot in common and they have started theirs, will the yoruba youths join the revolution or keep grandstanding. Time will tell 1 Like |

How do these thieving elites do what they do? They go to school, the very best schools. As for people like us who schooled in Nigeria, we should not be deterred, just be focused and face what you do while giving it your best shot even if you have to cut corners. Pay no mind to how you get the task done, just do it. Join the best clubs from that me agree savings, eschew parochial view of things and fear poverty. Poverty and illiteracy are what these m.otherfuckers use to hood wink us. Put in that extra effort, kill the enemy called average. These cults of theirs really don't care where you come from, all they wanna know is if you are enlightened. Politicians play on our minds all the the by putting up a display of conflict amongst themselves then later eat and drink together I. The dead of the night. That bourdillon m.otherfuxcker is knee deep occult. Wisdom is profitable to direct people! Take heed! |

See the amount of souls lost for nothing in rivers state? They died as blood sacrifice for the occult elite and the supreme court upheld that election. When we paid school fees from primary to university, we didn't just pay for the certificate, we paid to be instilled with the ability to think. The said education is not even adequate, one has to further the quest for knowledge, that's where being enlightened comes into play. I am sure the elites see how the poor masses waste away on here and they laugh before they know we are occupied with frivolities while their children are in the best schools in Europe and america getting quality education to rule over us. Never! If you can't beat them, you join them. Think people! 1 Like |

ekeneidiagbor: I know what I am talking g about. Harold demurin had been at the NCAA since forever prior to being booted out during Jonathan's reign. As for the onirus, that is blatant if you are conversant with how jagaban and these same people sold all the lands in lekki. I don't have a grouse with nobody but with the youths who idolise these fu.ckers. I am awake to the task at hand, just a last ditch effort to remind the children of the poor of the big picture. 1 Like 1 Share |

My contribution to another thread since I know some of these elites and can observe the unity amongst them. Nigeria is a united country in looting and the ethnic garbage spewed are just the pawns used to get leverage and more access to the loot. Spend your time thinking of elevating yourself and your family. No tribe or leader owes you anything! kayfra: |

I rather use all that time online to read law pavilion online and know the law so I can partake in the looting of this country through my skill. |

Alcatraz001: The site is good to learn about the country, it's people and culture. When you spend your time defending political parties or politicians with zero ideologies the. It becomes a waste of time. What is the ideological difference between APC or PDP? Which platform supports capitalism or socialism? What do they stand for? In the absence of no ideology you find divisions only across ethnic lines. Which means the voters will never know the ideology that will best develop his or her situation and they are left grasping at straws cursing each other out since they originated from one region of the country and forgetting that ethnic identity is not a permanent thing. The so called igbos and Yorubas migrated to their current location from other places in waves, speaking different tongues before what they currently speak or identify with. At some point these different groups were one and spoke the same language. The affiliation and associations is continous, it's the human experience. Today we are all Nigerians, tomorrow we may be identified as just Africans. Think people. |

Wonderful piece but your conclusions are wrong. 1) I learn a lot from nairaland than I learn from church so I ain't quitting nairaland soon 2) agreed that the elites are our problem but Time and time again I have advocated for a massive revolution. I have advocated for a youth movement that will shake the foundation of the nation. And that to me is one solution to the numerous problem of corruption suffocating us in Nigeria. As much as I believe that social media is a big problem the same view I have shared with tonyebarcanista because we a lot of us only do out protests on nairaland, Facebook, Twitter etc, I still want to believe that the social media can eventually , used to gather Nigerian youths and sensitize them for the revolution coming ahead Cc alcatraz001 |
