Hello, everyone.
I've been following this thread and I'm happy to see folks helping out with vital informations here.
I have a question that no one seems to have asked.
Have anyone tried paying at pos abroad?
Like shoppings etc?
I heard it's free and the rate is a bit higher than CBN.
Reason to ask is... I'm visiting the States next month and want to know how true is this.
anyone with useful info should pls share with a brother
Happy weekend everyone

Happy weekend everyone

It is the same rate bank is giving you dollar abroad from ATM that they give you when you pay by POS abroad. The only free you meant is that no additional charge on POS usage unlike ATM withdrawal. Never think it is a bit higher than CBN. It is near BDC/Mallam rate the banks are charging. Read up several threads here on Nairaland to see reality of situation on ground.

It's not the same, His is USA PayPal account which isn't the cheapest transaction fee in the world and also PayPal is very tough on USA PayPal account. USA PayPal account is not advisable to use with Nigeria IP unless you have access to use it with Window VPS.

The reason people's USA PayPal account get limited these days is because of VPN and accessing it from different locations. Windows vps is around 13 USD monthly and it worth it.

For now, I don't open USA PayPal account because it no longer rocks.

I've got 4 years experience in this field. I have sent to Tumbaba 500 USD and was charged 5 USD transaction fee while He revieced 500 USD net amount. Which country charges that?

Also put in consideration of after sales service, which have to do with lifting of limitation when such occurs.

We lift PayPal limited within 24 hours, yes within 24 hours because we have got all the tools PayPal needed.

We are both in Nigeria and the PayPal originating country, that's physical presence from both. So we've got you covered.
