In Nigeria nothing is being done. The Junkerter-in-chief is busy outside the country on a tea party. The Northerners themselves are keeping quite on this bokoharam thing. The most disheartening one is that the media houses are mute. Look at channel tv self. The reasons for the silence are multi faceted. The first reason is Tinubu, the godfather of Buhari has very many media houses and state media houses under his control. Secondly, the Federal Government has media houses under its control. The Director General of NTA was reported to have said a few days ago that NTA could not report Gov Wike's victory in the supreme court because he will loose his job. And most importantly, we should not forget The Guardian's Tunde Thompson and Nduka Irabor. Under Buhari's regime in 1984, the two journalists were jailed for reporting the Federal Government's diplomatic postings before the official announcement. The half baked Buhari did not know that media houses thrive on scoop. It is a pity that all the so-called civil society groups that thrived under Democrat Jonathan's era have gone completely silent. The freedom that existed under Jonathan does not exist anymore. Court judgements are now routinely disobeyed with impunity. Buhari who swore to uphold the constitution and the rule of law has become an outlaw before our very eyes. A Kaduna State university lecturerer was first suspended and later docked for criticising Buhari's administration on Facebook. And the likes of Itse Sagay, Kiyamo, Joel Odumakin, Wole Soyinka, etc are keeping mute. God dey ooo!

Cameroonian president Paul Biya has reportedly approved the use of witchcraft in fighting terror group Boko Haram.According to Cameroonian journalist ChiefBisong Etahoben, Chiefs of Cameroon’s East Region had asked President Biya to grant them permission to use witchcraft in finishing off Boko Haram.

The journalist on Tuesday tweeted that Far North Governor Midjiyawa said: “The head of state has demanded that an aspect of witchcraft be integrated into the fight against Boko Haram.”
