Hi Nlanders, I finished service few months ago & all through my period of staying at home I applied for quite a number of jobs.

As God will have it I was invited for a job interview, went successful & I got the job. I have been working for a month now & everyday my boss just complements how I am the person for this job they have been searching for & he's quite friendly to me.

Just few days back, one of the many jobs I applied for during my days of staying home invited me for an interview which also was successful & I was offered a job, this new job salary is like 3times my present job salary.

I've created a good relationship with my boss, really don't k ow how to tell him I'm leaving just a month of working with him. Please I need your advice, what should I do in this situation?

Just go meet him and tell him u got a better paying job and you have someone you knw Dat will replace you immediately. Wen u do Dat, pm me.

Think about which one is in line with your career.
Money isn't everything, but experience will take you to greater heights.

Think of which one has more prospects and aligns with your goals.

Most importantly , Pray.

It is too early to start running from one job to another...what if you pick up this new one and after some weeks you get a BETTER OFFER? Pay is a very important factor,but right now you need to focus on developing your self.What worked for mr A may not work for you.In your present job is it in line with your career prospects? A I understand the dilemma you are in,but be very wise.....you are just starting.
Personally,continue with your present job and grow....THERE IS NO END TO A BETTER PAYING JOB OUT THERE.EVERYDAY JOBS KEEP EVOLVING AND PAY RISE TOO.

I strongly believe I will tell him the truth and leave, if he is as nice as you think, he will give you some words of advice

Unwritten rule in the private sector.... "Dont form useless Loyalty for a job or employer" (coldplay007 2016).. you got a better job opportunity, with better pay, that will still benefit your career in the long run, you take it.
If your employer is faced with the option of either keeping you and keep getting is present profit or sacking you with a sure chance of getting a 3 fold increase in profits, he will sack you without blinking...

prico32, if it's money you're interested in, then the choice is clear. Now, which of them do you see yourself building a career in? Both?

If both, then go with the one with higher pay. If not, then go with the one that furthers your career.

About your relationship with your boss, if he really means well for you, then he will have no problem with you moving forward.

Open up to ur present boss abt this development and tell him how confused you are. He might reason with you and decide to Tripple your salary

Well, I was in a similar situation and I didn't make the most of it. I would advise you to consider a few things especially relating to longitivity and career progression. If this new job can offer you that then I suggest you explain clearly to your boss and you jump ship ASAP. My guy money is very important cos soon you would soon start paying bills and you may regret some months down the line why u didn't take up this high paying job. Remember your name is not on the board of directors of this your current job and also don't burn any bridges when eventually u decide to leave your current job.

Guy your first problem is you gat no working experience! At de being you have been working this is not a case to ask for advice you should know if life time every body is looking for way to grow big.

My brother, it is all about the Benjamin ($$$$$) at the end of the day. 3times more than your current job, I am pretty sure you can do a lot more with that money i.e help family, friends, church.
