This thread is to inspire someone somewhere who is letting his/her current situation weigh him down that it is not over. Below is the picture of the current president of Gabon (Ali Bongo Ondimba) while in the orphanage home as a small boy before he was adopted by late Omar Bongo. He never thought he could become the president then. But he is the current president of Gabon Last bullet: If it's imaginable, then it's possible

As much as the humble beginning sentimentality is appealing to most people, it still does not bring with it guarantee of good leadership. Something we are familiar with here in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

osamaBUSH: You are actually correct! Because, he's regarded as a "dictator" in Gabon as his late father (Omar Bongo) who was in power between 1967-2009 |

Mc4larin: Good and inspiring post. But I disagree that he was destined specially among the other inmates. The world is a gamble. At that instant Omar Bongo adopted him there was no special case about his existence. It could have been any of the children. It's melancholic for us to continue to believe that there is a God who favours some people above others. White men don't think that way. That single notion that everything is destined before it happens is the singular most damaging reason why black Africa is finding it hard to keep up with the rest of the world in growth and development. |
