Islam does not besmirch science. It only prohibits giving preference to myopic human intellect over divine rulings whenever a conflict occurs between the two.

Don't you see that the rules of Islam remained the same for over 15 centuries. some people -out of their blunt thinking - call this stagnancy. they don't know that the reason for development and improvement is deficiency.

This is why science always develop because it's not perfect. Added to that, Islam has mentioned many scientific facts long before people could imagine them. like the stages of creation, like the orbit of the sun, some people till today don't know that the sun moves, like not sleeping on your stomach etc

The Holy Quran is not only full of miracles but it is a miracle in itself. One of such great miracle is the meeting of two oceans/seas in such a way that they flow side by side, or even within each other, but they don’t mix and mingle. In many places around this world there are two masses of sweet-water and salt-water flowing side by side at the same place but without mixing or mingling with each other

The Sumerians recorded the movements of the planets over hundreds of years. A Sumerian priest who could read the cuneiform text about astronomy could tell you 50 years in advance on what day there would be a lunar eclipse. They had very accurate astronomical information, which we have confirmed with our modern science. They actually listed the distance between the outer planets and correctly cited the color of the outer planets such as Uranus and Neptune. When we sent the Galileo and Voyager probes into deep space in the late 70’s and early 80’s they took the first color pictures on the outer planets. NASA’s pictures exactly matched the Sumerian descriptions from 6,000 years ago as bluish-green planets.
