bigneorapz: Well done guys! Depends. Some of those Hps have varying specs. Some moght not come with a Bluetooth. Save you self the hassles and get a small usb Bluetooth dongle. You should be fine with that. |

bigt2:the screen doesn't show until i slap a particular place in the laptop before it shows. And if i mistakenly shake the laptop it turns blank again. I was told itz the flex. But i don't know how much it will cost |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by bigt2(m): 3:01pm On Feb 06, 2016 |
bigneorapz:If could be your screen too, get ready for the worst. You might need to replace the screen. The flex should not be more than 3k depending on your bargaining power with the engineer. Some engineers might even have a spare flex and that's a plus. |

Afternoon guys. Please is it possible for me to change my laptop GPU from Intel Graphics to any nVidia series? Also which is actually better for gaming? |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Sammiel: 2:08pm On Feb 07, 2016 |
Gurus in the house please advise me on what to do. I have an hp 620 (3gig ram 2100ghz processor speed, and 64mb vram) which i have been using for over 3yrs now but the problem now is that l started playing Pes 2013 & 2012 on it but I hardly enjoy the game because of the poor graphic capability of the laptop. Now i am thinking of upgrading the ram to about 6gig in order to boost the laptop speed during gameplay. Will this decision really make any difference or I should just save and buy a better laptop? |

Tips of self reliance in recovering documents from CORRUPT HDD” Note: Corrupts or bad are two difference things here when it come to OS operation. • Corrupt: it’s when OS can no longer boot properly as a result of missing files, meaning Window can’t open, • While bad: it’s when u no longer have access to HDD, meaning OS can no longer read from source, in this case u consult expert, while in corrupt u still have access to HDD? then do it yourself. Solutions, Follow these steps: 1. Create drive D partition (i.e.) if it’s a single drive partition, during formatting, on created partition drive, RUN OS to Windows start up, locate drive C and recover documents shikina… 2. In case of more than one drives (i.e.) C, D & E and documents are located in Drive D leaving drive C & E, Format Drive C or E to windows start up, and then locate drive D recover documents simple… Successful working day in advance remain blessed skydancer: |

Please all the gurus in the house I need help. I was using my brian laptop just to notice that it shut down few minutes later. However, before this incident, I've always noticed that sometimes when it's plugged in to a power source and I disconnect it maybe cus the battery is fully charged, it switches off immediately. I will have to switch it on again. And at times, it doesn't trip of when I remove it from a power source. But this noon, was watching a movie and it tripped off and has refused to come up. I changed battery, same thing. N.B: when I plug it to a power source, it shows the 'charge led' and when I try to switch on, the led light goes off. Again, when I try to switch it on (not plugged in), the led blinks but doesn't power on. SOLUTION PLEASE Windows 10 pro (activated) 64bit Intel core i3 500 HDD Cc: shawlxAk, Lexusgs430, airsaylongcon, sameolg616, bigt2 please come to my rescue. What can I do to revive my laptop? |

Akell: Does your Laptop heat up? Are u leaving sufficient gap in the processor vent? You might also need to check the battery |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by shawlxAk(m): 11:43pm On Feb 08, 2016 |
Remove the battery and try to power up the system with only the AC adapter connected. What do you notice? Test with another AC adapter. Akell: |

Does your Laptop heat up? Are u leaving sufficient gap in the processor vent? You might also need to check the battery YES, IT HEATS UP. DON'T KNOW WHY THOUGH. IF IT'S BESIDE A METAL, THE METAL WILL BE SO HOT THAT IT COULD BURN YOUR CHEEK. HOWEVER, THERE'S SUFFICIENT GAP ON THE VENT. Remove the battery and try to power up the system with only the AC adapter connected. What do you notice? Test with another AC adapter. I have two batteries. I mean good ones. I have tried both - Same issue. Meanwhile, when I connected the adapter without the battery, it still gave me th same issue. The 'charge led' came on, but a I powered on, the light goes off and the laptop didn't come up. |

It seems like there's been a major hardware failure. Take it to an engr. for physical examination. Try a hard reset though. Akell: |
