rudyislife:UDI and Norwegian embassy do not need sponsorship letter or sponsors bank statement.. You MUST post the money(living expenses between 2million - 2.3million naira) to a Norwegian bank account opened for you by the school 1 Like |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by rinzylee(m): 12:26am On Feb 25, 2016 |
Have never waited this long for admission ooo. But meanwhile am saving up dollars for living expenses. 1 dollar is worth about 8.5NOK , while 1 NOK is worth about 23naira I really wish these guys would tell us their basis for admission. Anywhichway sha am landing OSLO August. I think I would need to write IELTS just to be on the safe side too even though my schools didn't request for it. Sorry o housemates, am supplying unsolicited info but thought it would get us to recoil and get this house busy again. Remember FAITH is tested in the WAITING season...don't stop speaking good things. Daalu nu ooo |

I'm guessing that a (possible) ban of overseas travel, school fees or what have you by CBN won't have any effect on this Norway ish in terms of forex. Cos i'm thinking that Norway MSc matter which is just transferring ur money from Nigeria to ur Norwegian account is different from paying school fees. Hope d banks here in Nigeria won't convert our naira to dollars using outrageous dollar exchange rate instead of a lower Norwegian Krone (NOK) before transferring it? |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by rinzylee(m): 1:26am On Feb 26, 2016 |
Wow you just raised a valid point. I hope they don't try that., otherwise one may have to wire dollars over to them in Norway. Please who has any concrete info on this matter? |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by olajidegeo(m): 1:55pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
The CBN policy does not affect student school fees and living expenses. once you can provide documentations that your admission is genuine and you print the page on the school website that shows the amount of money you need to transfer, you are good to go. The bank will transfer to the school at CBN official rate of 199naira/dollar. The bank will also charge a small amount of money as transfer charges. 1 Like |

2 Corinthians 4:18. While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are unseen, for the things which are seen are temporal and the things which are not seen are eternal." Keep believing and keep speaking FAITH. I STILL MAINTAIN MY POSITION, WE WOULD ALL LAND OSLO TOGETHER BY AUGUST. Those needing funds , receive it in JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN. I intend applying to NHH-Norwegian School of Economics for an Msc in International Business, but the challenge is that they require I should have done something related to Business Administration in my undergraduate and I have a science background but I've worked for 2 years a sales manager in a British firm based in Nigeria. Can anyone give me ideas on how to go about my application and if I have any chance given my educational background. Thank you. |
