So if I have a state government or local government issued birth certificate, with declaration of age affidavit I'm covered?
Because declaration of age is looking easier and ch
eaper than this NPC wahala
It is actually easier and cheaper, that's what I used.

This is the message I received yet again from this stupid bank called DB after spending so much to resend the new form. I'm completely clueless on what to fill in the tax-related field now. I left the field empty while I resent this second time.

Dear Sirs,

thank you for sending us your account opening documents.

We regret your account cannot be opened because the documents are not completly filled. You have made no information to
Country of tax residence
Tax ID number or personal identification number

A statement to the points "U.S. citizenship" and "country of birth USA", your home address format "street with house no., postal/zip code city, optionally additional address lines (e.g. c/o), country" and "tax residence" is mandatory.

Please send us the documents again completely filled and signed in all spaces with the description "Signature of account holder" and "Acknowledgement of receipt by the depositor".

A confirmation from the German Embassy is not necessary.

Please what do you mean by "all the documents"? If you have read your school's requirements I believe they would state the procedure and how to go about it. So I honestly don't know the difference between "all the documents", and "the documents required by my school".
Go and get your original certificate because I'm not sure statement (for O'level, not for BSc) will be accepted. I hope I'm wrong for your sake...

I've heard of this, though I don't know the procedure. And there's no BVN center in Germany (to my knowledge; I might be wrong). You could just contact the Nigerian bank you want, they will GLADLY listen to inquiries of this sort wink

Congrats Man...we re in same journey together. My interview is next week..did you go with WAEC direct CARD on interview day hint me on the Checklist package u used thanks bro...am happy for you
stevemims:
With a sincere gratitude to the blessed 'TRINITY' i wish to share my testimony that my package was delivered to me today with my visa. The journey started last winter, though i missed out on getting an offer from Siegen (i applied late and was bitter, never knew God has a bigger plan). I got back to the drawing board with words of encouragement from beautiful people on here, God gave me a reason to trust in Him by applying to schools available for summer.

I had my interview early January and got the funding mail the next morning, with a note to correct the age of birth on my passport. Mehn! had to travel down to Abuja to face immigration but all thanks to God for His divine favor, i got it done within a few days. I scanned the new passport and sent it to the embassy, in between these days/weeks i kept on waiting for the db acct details (i was worried but had faith in God) before it was sent to me finally. Yea, passport corrected and db details gotten but here comes the funding ishh. Last week Monday the am mail dropped without funding, yea! Is God not awesome? With speed i got to Lagos few days later, and today my package arrived. Glory!!!!!

My appreciation goes to everyone here.... Dolpaz, Eke40seven, Kennyoguns, Canhelvin, Sonnyville, Honourableseyi, Adenjnr, Fapper, Futurewiser... And my Gs (femo and promise)... Abeg nor vex if i nor mention your name... Babanila, Lord..... and Twostep.... Much love people

This is just a pointer to greatness.... May God perfect all that concerneth us in Deutschland..... Amennnn.

My interview transcript and timeline will follow shortly. Cheers.

Yea... Get the scratch card and attach it to your WAEC/NECO certificate... Don't know if the checklist is changed now.... Just package your certificates, sworn affidavit for age, your app form and the questionnaire...Dolpaz posted the checklist sometimes ago,the only thing you might add is the self addressed envelope from a courier service. All the best man
