Uyo is in the south. Clearly you don't know where you are.

Dimwit, unlike Ogun, Lagos, Osun, Anambra and Edo States where rituals are commonplace even at road junctions, there are no such despicable happenings in Uyo and its environs.

Uyo is the only city in Nigeria where you can walk around even by 1.00am and still be safe. I dare you to mention any other city which rivals Uyo in this. It's no coincidence that Uyo is tagged "the safest city in Nigeria ".

About walking late at night and be safe that's true. My last visit, after a certain escapade we were outside fooling around. And it was 3am and the police were at almost every junction I passed

Very safe. Just do well to be with your I.D card(s) at night just incase the MoPol at Plaza decide to get a little crazy.

There are several relaxation centres though.

The Ibomsphere Tropicana Resort which hosts the Silver bird Cinemas , the Ibom Plaza, countless parks along Four Lanes and IBB avenue. Get an online gazette about Uyo and you'd be thrilled.

The statistics and eyewitness accounts are testimonies which lay credence to that assertion of mine.

Make no mistake - I am well-travelled and I've been domiciled in the aforementioned states (for considerable periods of time) before arriving at my conclusion.

Check any official ranking of the safest cities and Uyo always ranks amongst the top three.

While you folks in Ogun (Abeokuta and Otta), Lagos, ANAMBRA (Akwa) , Edo (Benin) and Osun (Oshogbo) States are overly security conscious especially from the months of September to December (which you tag "Ember months" ) , residents of Uyo aren't bothered.

The aforementioned states have daily reported cases of cult group clashes but Uyo residents stay calm like a brook in a fenced-out nature park.

Can you sleep with your gates open? It's a common occurrence in Uyo.

What's more? Residents of the aforementioned cities agree with me.

Uyo has even overtaken Calabar as the safest and cleanest city in Nigeria.

Need I go on, sir? cool

Hmm, please do go. You mentioned statistics prove Uyo to be the safest city in Nigeria, might I ask you to provide a link to substantiate this claim of yours.

I'll also like you to name the states you've been to in Nigeria, just so I'll know where and where you've been for you to say such, because what you posited seem to be coming from states in southern Nigeria, personal experience matters....
