HOW TO MAKE ZOBO DRINK See full details here> http://www.funadoysrecipes.com/2015/06/how-to-make-zobo-drink-roselle-plant.html?m=1 Zobo drink is a very wonderful drink which has many health benefits. It is made from dry calyx (flower) of Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Roselle plant) and is a very popular drink in Nigeria and some other parts of world. Individual region has a unique name for it; some call it hibiscus tea, omutete, sorrel, etc but here in Nigeria, its called zobo drink. It is mostly garnished with a citrus fruit say orange or lemon but I decided to garnish mine with apple fruit....Why?....Have you heard the saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctors away?'.....that's why!. Aside that, I love to explore other options and apple is a very good and healthy catch. 1 Like

Tomato puree is used for cooking, in making sauce, and many more. I made this while making Pizza and it worked well with it.

Your worries are over. You can actually carve a fruitcake for their use and have a perfect celebration. Its called fruit art. The use of carved cakes goes beyond the birthdays, you can serve at any ceremony, as desert, etc. You can even frost the carved fruit cake if you so much love frosting. This is my first attempt at fruit art though.....

Moin moin is made from a blend of bean (black eyed) or pea, onion and pepper (red scotch bonnet pepper and hanebero pepper or red bell pepper) garnished and seasoned as preferred to liven up the moin moin. You could even add ginger to yours if you want. Moin moin serves well alone, with bread, rice, plantain, pap (ogi or eko) and custard. Its perfect to eat anytime of the day. 2 Likes

Proper Way To Boil Meat See recipe details here>> http://www.funadoysrecipes.com/2016/01/proper-way-to-boil-meat.html?m=1 Boiling of meat is a common practice especially during festives and home cooking and I must confess, it's a very healthy practice since it helps to get rid of harmful bacteria, preserves the meat in a way, adds to the taste and palatability of the meat and also make the meat tender thus easy to steal from when no one is looking #winks.....You know how we do it during christmas and eid now #LOL. Meat is boiled for reasons such as: To fry and store for future use To fry and eat as snacks over chilled drinks or as desired To use in cooking food like rice, stew and soups like VEGETABLE SOUP (EFO RIRO), MELON SOUP (EGUSI), stew, etc. 1 Like
