But many fifa officials were extradited from Switzerland na. And some of them are even Swiss. Can you tell me how that happened.

US and the UK does not recognize the Rome statue on which ICC is formed. So that's why they'll never submit to ICC.

I believe this will answer your question about switzerland:

And you just buttressed my point with regards to US and UK. If extradition is not possible for them, then why should we be in a hurry to send our own to them

This is ridiculous. Do you really think the Nigerian legal system comes anywhere close to that of the United States in terms of quality or fairness? For your information, most Western countries have extradition treaties with each other, and extraditing criminals from Europe to the USA, or vice versa, is no big deal. You also need to learn the distinction between the ICC and bilateral extradition treaties between nations.

People need to stop trying to stir up nationalism to defend Nigerian criminals. If people like Kashamu, Ibori and Alamieyeseigha are sought on criminal charges abroad, then there is no reason to keep them from going to face justice where their crimes were allegedly committed: any effort to the contrary is simply thieving, crooked politicians defending one of their own, at the expense of the Nigerian masses (as always).

Get your head out of your colonial shackles! There is no perfect legal system. Even in US, innocent people end up in jail. A black suspect in america has a 90% chance of going to jail (whether or not he is innocent), compared to his white counterpart.

Stop watching tv series and thinking thats how things really are on ground. You are deceiving no one but yourself.
Btw its not about defending nigerian criminals. All countries have criminals. We have our own legal system and its good enough for us!

Stop spouting rubbish about a country you've clearly never been to. It's precisely "anti colonial" people like you who are responsible for the mess most of Africa is in today. You're so ready to swallow anything that's against the white devils in your imaginations that you forgive the very real black devils in your midst. Nigeria doesn't need the likes of Kashamu running around freely and besmirching the country's already soiled reputation: let him go and answer his father's name in America.

Actually u are the one spewing trash with your suppressed mentality that everything foreign is good. Its not. We have our own legal system and by our constitution kashamu is innocent until proven otherwise. If america wants him, they should follow the normal process of law. Its not about defending criminals, its about the rule of law. People with mental colonisation like you always think everything foreign is good and better than here. When u have never crossed border before

Try and break off from colonisation, it wont do u any good!

I didn't realize you were quite this stupid. In your simplistic worldview, either one accepts that western countries are all trying to keep the black man down, or one has a "suppressed mentality that everything foreign is good". As I said, it's precisely people like you, who fail to accept that Nigeria is indeed lagging behind in many ways, who are responsible for the country remaining as backward as it is. You can't even distinguish between the ICC and bilateral extradition agreements, have probably never even stepped foot outside of Nigeria's borders, and yet you consider yourself knowledgeable enough to dismiss the accusations against Kashamu based on Nigeria's supposedly exemplary "rule of law"?

You're a living, breathing illustration of the Dunning-Kruger effect in action.

Lots of hot air and nonsense from a semi-literate apologist for criminals. If you're too slow for any amount of reason to get through to you, it is at least amusing to see you get worked up smiley

For real? Ok. Its time to allow him some breathing space, after all drug biz originated and is still thriving in the western world. Come to think about it. Can Nigeria demand that an American citizen be deported to face trial for crime committed within our territory?

O spare us all that. If Nigeria can't demand does that mean that we should allow evil to prevail. If he thinks he is innocent let he go and clear is name.
