There are few ways you can use to Upgrade the certificate issue by polytechnic in Nigeria to BSC.
The method will be discuss briefly below.


National Diploma: upgrading your national diploma result is not too difficult in the present condition of Nigeria Educational. System.
You can Apply For Direct entry into 200 level.
Although most school demand for upper credit as criteria for direct entry Admission.


HND : you may upgrde your ND result to HND and after your HND you can gain Admission to 300 level in any Nigeria university if you graduated with upper credit while candidates that graduated with lower credit will be consider into 200 level.

HND conversion: Another platform you can use to convert your HND to BSC is by obtaining HND conversion programme in some Nigeria universities.
Conversion programme always take upto 3 or 4 Academic session.


Take ICAN : holders of Ican ATS 3 certificate can also apply for direct entry into 200 level.
Candidate with national diploma with a lower grade or pass can enrol for ICAN ATS exam.


PGD : lastly all Hnd certificate holder can run a post graduate diploma programme to upgrade their certificate in the labour market.

Or a much easier way is not going to a polytechnic in the first place. Rather than pursuing an HND degree take JAMB and start from 100 level if you can't make it to the university through DE at ND level. Nowadays universities are increasing their Quotas, The number of 100 level students progressing to 200 level is too much. Then DE aspirants will always be in stiff competition, In a department not more than 20 DE aspirants would be admitted.

Simple. Lemme give you the steps

1. Gather enough money/ financial support
2. Go to the nearest waste bin and dump the certificate or simply burn it
3. Apply for admission into any university of your choice
4. Study hard
5. Ignore babes or just make any fun stuff minimal
6. Don't forget the God factor
7.Be patient for sometime, 4, 5 or 6years
8. Once more, don't forget the God factor
At the end of the day, whatever effort you put in would determine if you'd graduate with a first class or 2.1

as in? Nigeria Bsc that can not even cross border (that can not compete with their counterparts in the international labour market). though, useful infos for those who want to have Bsc by fire by force. All the best.

Tell them bro. TELL THEM! i have two guys who just arrived naija from UK vis-a-vis Msc. They've got no job.. we r not mocking them.. But people need to just understnd the simple philosophy of life. GOD's favour rules!

That one simple na,
Step 1: Retake the form into the same school and same course
Step 2: Ensure u read very well for the exams and do ur assignments and test well
Step 3: if u are a lady and u still no wan read, u can offer urself to the lecturers


If u follow this steps, it won't guarantee you first class o, but u will will get something better than Pass....

i don tire , ND,HND,BSc,HIV , school na school, all that matters is the knowledge and application of the knowledge ,some BSc holders no fit even construct simple sentence. Naija , all is well #DonaldHasSpoken

No time to convert... ND and straight forward to the University, started from year one and now I'm a proud two degrees holder.
