Girls and their brain sha... I wonder why some people will just think everything must be as it is in their family without considering what others are Facing...no wonder they say "it is not real until it is personal" Even the so called ajebos/wealthy are feeling the heat of unemployment in the country. Do you expect a guy that can't afford recharging his phone to feed himself let alone paying the rent?... Even if the guy is working and his only reason for leaving his parent's house is for freedom sake, them he isn't mature/ready for the challenges that'll follow. 3 Likes |

MrsPhyno:He is a wise man. I don't see a reason why I should move out when my parents own a home. When I can comfortably stay with them and my kids till I save to get mine. Well it depends on the location. Like your opinion are location based(nigeria). But in US here, we don't have a problem with it. If you do then you might as well start giving them money for apt |

What if the guy is upgrading his education and needs to save money for tuition fees? What if one of his parents needs support due to old age? What if the guy is saving money to launch a business? And then, what gives the girl the right to tell people how to live their lives? 5 Likes |

EnigmaticEnigma: Gbam! I won't advice any father to chase his son out. Instead he should stay to be able to save money since he won't be paying rent and other bills. When it's time, he'd get a decent place (or even build a house), get married and move. Accommodation gulps a lot in this Lagos. We know how much is left after paying rent every year. Which time boys go build house? 1 Like |

ChappyChase: You and umehj are correct. Its the system. Abroad and here have different motivating factors. Our parents sef...r they ready to let go? For one to go hustle, he will get his hands into illicit things. If still in school or yet to go in...the hustling fit change am for you. no more school. If you are in school, strive to liv off-camp and make there your home. That way you have indirectly left your parents home. i did that when i was in school. i only went home during Xmas. Easter i form we have exams immediately, so no need to come home. holidays or strike period, i form another thing. in fact by the time they see u r cutting them off, they wont bother u as such esp if u r not always going to ask for money. though not asking could make them wonder how u survive. if you school in d same town they liv in...try and get an accommodation near the school.bottom line...its true what she said but its not that easy. our system does not support it. its not that the guys r lazy nor broke. its just the system. 2 Likes |
