We appreciate the men of goodwill that are trying to find common ground but please please it is not fair on any level to hold everyone to ransom over this issue especially on this thread which has been a very useful and informative thread.

Brabus thread or one set up to deal with this issue should suffice.

Just to give you guys a heads up I fell into a similar situation and although I did not pay 400k, I had paid 200k with another 100k at completion did I get back the 200k no. It was upsetting as i already had an approval but was just updating the revisions in plans to be used later.

Maverick would have to dig deep. If the approval served a purpose would not having it have meant that you could not do the project, what is the cost of that to you. If Bosun paid people out of the400k chances are he is never going to offer you a full refund if ever.

Bottom line on this thread no one can make Bosun refund you unless he agrees to it.

That "fake approval" never served any purpose!
If maverick should present it, he could be arrested for forgery... until he points out those responsible for procuring it, while he claims innocent of the fact!
That the "fraudulent Building officer" fended-off his mates at the building stage, is a natural course of event, to protect his scam!
That is not what Maverick paid for, ......and was promised. (A Genuine Building Approval )

I have said it before that Brabus is playing a game called "Who blinks first".
He is the type of person who does not value his "name or personality" (as in real name,not N/Land pseudo-name).

But there is a reason we have LAWS in this country.
It is only THE LAW (Enforcement officers and the Court System) that makes things happen.

For any infraction of the LAW (as in FRAUD, section 419), it is the[b] "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS/COURT SYSTEM" [/b]that can make the "fraudster" pay up or get sent to prison.

But the Bible says "we should NEGOTIATE with those we owe, before they head for the courts.... where things may get worse"!

I am of the opinion that Brabus knows that Maverick is "not on ground" ..and is trying to frustrate him by stalling and playing for time.
People get sent to Prison for offences lesser than this (I have seen the screen shots of the approval thing).
I have seen the family members of the fraudster, coming to hold the legs of the complainant, AT THE LAST MINUTE, (when they realized that the game is up and their person is going to prison) ... to withdraw the criminal case.

Maverick needs to do two things (I would have loved to do it for him but it will mean "blowing my own cover" so to say (that l dont want to do for now)

1.) He needs to come around and FILE A PETITION with the EFCC or Special Fraud Unit (SFU) at Milverton Road, Ikoyi (EFCC is better, they have grown balls of recent and want to impress ).

2.) He then needs to hand-over the matter, to a "paid and trustworthy" competent Lawyer.

He must also be ready to 'come around' at critical times, to give oral evidence at least once! (his lawyer can handle the rest on his behalf, in his absence).
The Judge will understand why he cant come for every court hearing..... which is why he was actually defrauded).


This case is 'open-and-close', believe me.

Brabus can spend all his money to employ a SAN, he will either beg Maverick to withdraw the case settle out of court at the last moment, (which Maverick MUST refuse bluntly).... or go to Prison, with his accomplice.

But l love and trust Bosun, he is a strong and brave guy and he would rather go to Prison.... than do what is right.

...And Maverick should stop all these nonsense of calling poeple around Brabus!
Its enough..and adds no more 'practical value' (maybe 'moral value', but Bosun cares non about that), at this time.

Its important that NL doesn't become an accessory for fraud, on this forum I have dealt with some very good individuals and not so very good ones. There are some people that I have personally met via this forum and there are others that its just a phone thing.

NL is not my property, but at least we should ensure that people like Brabus Bosun Shoyoye doesnt continue to thrive on here.

Now my question goes like this, what do we think the ripple effect of the falling naira and rising foreign currencies will be in the property market? Certainly I know that so many building materials will appreciate in costs (especially imported stuff, tiles, electrical items and sanitary wares), pushing building costs up while more service costs go up, as workers must survive.

But will there be a selling pressure on lands and homes so people can buy more forex in these turbulent times or are people going to buy and hold more property as it might prove to be more stable in the long run?
