adajiboyy: instead of u to encourage d buying d ofada or ekpoma rice which is about 50naira per derica u r here talking trash. wen ur hero jona could not save for d rainyday.wen oil price was 60dollar per barrel evn d "evil obj" was able to save well over 62bn dollars for d country. jonathan sold oil at d rate of about 120dollar per barrel on d average, yet he couldnot save a dime, rather went of spending spree, stole as much as could and depleted our reserves. i will liken u to a hypocrite or an ignoramus. 2 Likes |

richardjemedafe1: people like u wit retrogressive mindset r d problem of dis country. how dare talk abt holidays abroad! are u ok? what happend to obudu ranch, yankari game reserve?....it is people like dat dat have their wives deliver their children abroad and by drain puting unneccessary pressure on our reserves.ur taste for anything foreign is what drives dollar marketers to hoard and hike d price of d dollar. d only word i have for u is to b patriotic and support local production and spending,so dat our naira can get balanced. as of today d official rate is 1dollar is still 197.47naira go and buy from @1dollar to 400naira if u jave d money and stop dis useles rants. |

adajiboyy: instead of reacting logically to my text,u are farthing wit ur mouth, anyway a wailer cant do beta,i understand. as for d poor people u r talking abt,wen did poor people "start purchasing dollar". last time i check price of dollar has a neglible effect of local products whose raw material are local aswell. dat y garri still sells les dan 400naira per bucket, fresh tomatoe, pepper, onions are very cheap, same goes for beef. cant u see dat ur insults r unneccessary?. i pray dat u regain sanity and work for a beta nigeria. |

Rexology:You are not absolutely right, your theory applies to fixed income earners like civil servants & company workers whose salary remains static while inflation grows geometrically. I bet you, what he can buy when a dollar becomes 750 naira will be significantly far more than if it were to be say 280 naira! Infact due to drastically reduced purchasing power, people will be more willing to sell assets like lands, cars, houses etc to raise income while buyers wont be much which signifies low prices(supply>demand=low price). This is the best time to be abroad in a dollar/pound country!! 1 Like |

oyinkinola: But the problem is the government won't take the recovered funds to the market to change it, will they? So, this perspective of the matter can only benefit individuals and maybe, MAYBE so companies. But it's a unique angle/perspective to the matter though. |

sold:Its true that we need to become a manufacturing economy, but this doesn't happen overnight its a very gradual process. The changes in CBN policies are too abrupt and shocking within a short period of time. And besides the government hasn't provided adequate infrastructure to foster massive local manufacturing. 1 Like |

adajiboyy: And pls without being sentimental... answer this simple question. What has Buhari gotto do with this? Is it His fault that Crude oil price is drilling bore hole? Other OPEC countries are in the same shoes with ours... so is Buhari responsible for that too.... All this is what you get when A single party Rule you for 16 years without diversifying the economy and promoting exportations. Skabissh!!! 1 Like |
