big issue. you may not have access to your domain especially when you want to transfer it out. do a google search as earlier advised and decide your self. to avoid stories, use godaddy or namesilo. namesilo have a stable price of just $8.99 for a .com

it is not expired but new domain name entirely.

the domain name will contain 2 or 3 words. one will be
a location of a place and the second will be a service
people are rendering. so after getting a domain name,
you serach for the words on google keyword planner
and set the location. so after getting the number of
searches per month, you screenshot it and save it
somewhere.

now go to to business directory of the company.
search for the service and the location. it will bring
people in that location that are rendering the service.
get their contacts and mail them. tell them you have
contacted other people that are into competition with
them. tell them the number of searches per month,
tell them if they link the domain name to their site,
their site will be on page 1 on google. tell them u are
open to any offer..

what i noticed is that the business cant buy the
domain for more than 500dollars.

e.g lasvegasdoctors.com

las vegas is a place in usa

doctors are people into the medical line

go to godaddy.com to see if it is available

if it is available, go to google keyword planner to get
the number of searches per month.

if there are 300 searches, screenshot it and save it
somewhere.

then go to godaddy to register it and put it up for
sale.

go to yellowpages.com, search for doctors in las vegas,
get their contacts (email) or use the contact us icon
to msg them through their website.

put the benefits of buying the domain

1. their website will be on page 1 on google

2. the total average number of searches will open
them to more customers which might increase their
income.

3. they will have edge over their competitors.
let them know you are open to any offer they make.
surely, they wont be able to buy for $1k. but let them
competite for it. $500 is still ok.....you have a gain of
$490...

let them know how to make the offer. use undeveloped
or afternic. dont let them do it with you directly, they might think that it is a scam.

the sending of email should be individually.

I think you'll have to have a domicillary account (a dollar account) in a bank to be able to get your many in dollar. If you don't have a dollar account, those banks will pay you in naira at #199/$ which does not make sense.

Try out different categories, you can start by typing in domains.
I've never used the platform before but it looks very easy to get around.

you could have selected paypal as your mode of receiving payment at least you will receive your funds same day. actually I don't know how the int'l check of a thing works. contact your bank and all the same, afternic support too will enlighten you more but next time use paypal. it doesn't matter if you have a paypal account or not, you receive your money same day into your local bank account. let me know if you need more assistance on this.
