megainvest: wahala dey ooo. most fuel stations in anambra increased fuel price to 105. others are simply shutting down n hoarding their fuel. when i asked, i was told a major pipeline was burst in delta state. some said its exchange rate, some simply said there was a bad news that would affect availability of fuel dt d mkters heard. Its only God that will save us. In another news, residents of US are so happy for the oil price crash. Some hail Obama for it and count it as one of his achievements. They now buy fuel and gas for half the previous cost. On one forum , some young guys said they are planning to buy suvs(trucks) cos fuel n gas is now cheap. This week will be interesting. Macro economics is pointing south and some companies will be going down with it. Some other companies will be heading north due to release of FY 15 results. It is like a minefield and you will need strong skills to navigate your way safely. Lets see what today (Monday) will look like. |

With the proposed rule change about block divestment of equities, there is going to be panic and a mad rush for the exit by the big guys. They'll try to exit before the rule starts applying. It has happened several times over is several countries. Remember China recently. Remember sometime in 2008/09 when they out in place a 1% circuit breaker on stocks. That is a very dumb proposal from SEC. |
