Spirit airline is cheap but if you have luggage please dont use Spirit because they dont have free luggage check in. you have to pay for your luggage. Spirit is good for someone who dont have any luggage. i took spirit fro texas to Chicago for $35 and it was because i wasnt carrying anything with me.

@Chloe7 I will advise you to enter through JFK and take American Airline to Atl for $80 or less that was what I did when I got to the states although you will fly from La Guardia Airport not JFK and stop over in Charlotte,NC.

My wife and sister prebooked for their US trip via their email stuff (submitting all they asked for, since over 2 weeks oh), opened and loaded their accounts with over the naira equivalent of 4000USD to no avail. They couldn't get yesterday and had to buy at the airport yesterday at about 384. They were asked to prebook without guarantees for their end of March UK trip that there was nothing to do about it yesterday. I'm still angry because I feel they went there to be doing ajebo instead of "original area"!

Sabrinaqueenzy jfk is a good poe and less harsh infact the nicest and they usually have little or no questions to ask but it's better you go prepared, the date you filled and the date you are going doesn't matter so far you said NYC and you are showing up in NYC and not another state is okay
As for ticket transit visa may not be issued to you it all depends on them because the wait time is just 14 hours which is pretty long, why not try getting a flight with a less waiting time that will be better for you, I heard of someone who applied for transit visa and he was given a certain category that didn't even allow him get out of the airport which makes no sense, what are the dates you have in mind make I check for you if I can get a lesser wait time, cheers.
