Are u sure hell hasn't relocated to naija? As in, b4 now, whenever I take a public cab, the passengers wld wind down the glass of the side doors. But today, when I took the public cab, the passengers wound up the glass because of the hot air blowing in. The weather is so hot, it can boil a egg inside the ifundubulum* of a hen. 2 Likes |

RichYoungNigger:can't you just Google it idiot, okay let me help you The Sahara (Arabic : ﺍﻟﺼﺤﺮﺍﺀ ﺍﻟﻜﺒﺮﻯ , aṣ-ṣaḥrāʾ al-kubrā , 'the Greatest Desert') is the largest hot desert and third largest desert after Antarctica and the Arctic worldwide. [1] Its surface area of 9,400,000 square kilometres (3,600,000 sq mi) [citation needed ]—including the Libyan Desert—is comparable to the respective land areas of China or the United States . The desert comprises much of the land found within North Africa, excluding the fertile coastal region situated against the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlas Mountains of the Maghreb , and the Nile Valley of Egypt and Sudan . The Sahara stretches from the Red Sea in the east and the Mediterranean in the north, to the Atlantic Ocean in the west, where the landscape gradually transitions to a coastal plain. To the south, it is delimited by the Sahel , a belt of semi-arid tropical savanna around the Niger River valley and Sudan Region of Sub-Saharan Africa . The Sahara can be divided into several regions, including the western Sahara, the central Ahaggar Mountains , the Tibesti Mountains , the Aïr Mountains , the Ténéré desert, and the Libyan Desert . Its name is derived from the plural Arabic language word for desert. culled from Wikipedia. Sahara Desert According to several sources, the highest land surface temperature ever recorded was 136° F in the Sahara Desert , at El Azizia, Libya, on September 22, 1922. Some people dispute this record, though, because of the way it was measured. also from Wikipedia |

You always want what you haven't got. This is how it is when the weather is about to change. It is mostly like this in February. No weather is perfect. During harmattan people complain of cracked lips and dry skin. Rainy season, never comfortable. At least no one is walking unclad yet, Nigeria has one of the most stable weather in the world. Imagine if the weather is a switch! 1 Like |

Painful thing's that it's cheaper to cool down your homes than to heat it up...I lived in Aberdeen for a couple of years and believe me, if the sun shines for up to 3hrs a day, there'll be partying on the streets...the sun is such a blessing, it's so that God hasn't given us the knowledge of how to harvest the great potential |

Keep Your Cool in Hot Weather High humidity. When the humidity is high, sweat won't evaporate as quickly, which keeps your body from releasing heat as fast as it may need to. 1. Stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible. Air-conditioning is the number one protective factor against heat-related illness and death. If a home is not air-conditioned, people can reduce their risk for heat-related illness by spending time in public facilities that are air-conditioned, and using air conditioning in vehicles. 2. Do not rely on a fan as your primary cooling device during an extreme heat event. 3. Drink more water than usual and don't wait until you're thirsty to drink. 4. Check on a friend or neighbor and have someone do the same for you. 5. Don't use the stove or oven to cook—it will make you and your house hotter. Even young and healthy people can get sick from the heat if they participate in strenuous physical activities during hot weather: 1. Limit outdoor activity, especially midday when the sun is hottest. 2. Wear and reapply sunscreen as indicated on the package. 3. Pace activity. Start activities slow and pick up the pace gradually. 4. Drink more water than usual and don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink more. Muscle cramping may be an early sign of heat-related illness. 5. Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing. If you participate on a sports team that practices during hot weather protect yourself and look out for your teammates: 1. Schedule workouts and practices earlier or later in the day when the temperature is cooler. 2. Monitor a teammate’s condition, and have someone do the same for you. 3. Seek medical care immediately if you or a teammate has symptoms of heat-related illness. 4. Learn more about how to protect young athletes from heat-related illness by taking this CDC course. Everyone should take these steps to prevent heat-related illnesses, injuries, and deaths during hot weather: 1. Stay in an air-conditioned indoor location as much as possible. 2. Drink plenty of fluids even if you don't feel thirsty. 3, Schedule outdoor activities carefully. 4,. Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing and sunscreen. 5. Pace yourself. 6. Take cool showers or baths to cool down. 7. Check on a friend or neighbor and have someone do the same for you. 8. Never leave children or pets in cars.
