This heat and humidity is d worst I've experienced in this country since I was born. In abuja, d air didn't move at all this past week. U don't even feel d sun has gone down in d evening cos its just so hot and humid ur almost suffocating. Nepa now showed us for 2 days straight wt zero light & low voltage light. No NEPA, no AC. I had to sleep wt ice packs on my face & neck. Just realized we have to start looking for a generator DT carries air conditioning now. Just horrible.

Effects of global warming I presume, but the weather has started cooling down in Nigeria though, it even rained in my area today, I'm hoping Ethiopia also cools down, considering heat leads to drought which on its own creates scary scenarios.
