NEED HELP

I recently observed that my google play, facebook and twitter apps aren't working. I can't download videos and apps even on mobile sites.

However, I can do all of these when connected to a wifi network.

I use HUAWEI Y3. Attached are screenshots of replies I get using google play.

Thanks for that tip. I did it, rebooted and the welcome screen still reads Welcome to Samsung GT-S5300. Then you are requested to tap the android logo to begin. Funny enough the process of booting to recovery does not work again. Could it be a problem with the volume key? It seems to fail or what else can I do. I'm in a fix!

In recovery, did you manage to navigate using your volume rocker key, if you did then there is nothing wrong with the key... The next step to consider is to download the stock rom of your Mobile's model from sammobile and flash through Odin using a PC.. Can you still charge the device?? Am thinking if you can get into download mode then that might be the only other thing I can think off..

My Infinix X551 (Hot Note 2gg+16) has been giving me all sorts of trouble in recent times so I decided to update to lolipop since it was on Kitkat (I've not been able to take it to the calcare centre). So I decided to do it myself and went online and saw some tutorials which I followed. Everything was peachy... or so I thought. I've been on the XUI screen for the past 3 hours and counting (though the tutorial said it will take some time to load) but is this normal? Hope I have not entered 2 chance?

Battery cannot be removed it's built in.


After searching online and reading people's comments, I saw that many people had the same problem and they were advised to load kit kat. I did and got the ok sign and everything but now my phone has refused to come on.

U knw u will first flash the kitkat, put it on then switch it off, connect the phone, load the lolipop rom, dont format just click on upgrade

Then I think ur KitKat ROM is corrupt

Download a fresh one from infinix website

Make sure ur data connection is stable

There is no way ur lollipop will be OK if the KitKat u r upgrading from is faulty

I get you and I'll download a new kit kat rom. But my phone itself came with Kit kat and it was when i tried to upgrade to lolipop this morning that my current ordeal began.
