Can some one put me through on how to establish an internet radio station or better still help me establish one. I have a DJ studio with all the needed hardware, like laptops, desktop, mixers, studio mic, turntables, players/controllers, loads of vinyl records/cd of different genre, thousands of sound on mp3 & a very good office space. My problem is getting registered & logged into a good server that is almost free. I have searched the web to get info but still need a guru around to guide & help me logged in. I am base in kogi state. Nigeria.

I really have no idea the speed required but I know you would need a huge data bundle of 3gb a month at least for a starting point.

Your station also needs to run 24hours a day or a set time probably 06:00 - 18:00 daily. Running a radio station 24/7 or using a routine, you would encounter setbacks from NEPA or your trusty generator developing random faults. Such setback would cost you immensely mostly in terms of followership. There's a strong reason why most internet radio stations in the country are established media organizations or people in Diaspora and I feel NEPA is one those main causes.
