Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by OJaySeenson: 11:52am On Feb 22, 2016 |
Boss, I doubt any bank will do form A for you for such a small amount like you plan to pay for UniAssist. I had to send my money to a friend in germany using western union, and then he helped me pay. I suggest you try this. Negro1986: |

fellow Nigerians...I need help again o...TU dortmund has confirmed admission for WS 2016 process systems engineering for yours truly. I opened my blocked account last year and i have the embassy slip, but I have not funded (still trying to gather the money for the form A application). 1. Should I wait till i fund before applying for an interview date at the embassy, or should I do the interview with the Account opening slip they gave me? 2. if i do my interview with the slip, will i have a limited time to fund account before visa is rejected? if so, how much time is this? many thanks for helping, bros... |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by dolpaz: 12:11pm On Feb 22, 2016 |
OJaySeenson: Since you opened your account last year, DB should have send you an email stating your account number.. If this is the case, you dont need to use the slip given to you by the embassy. Just printout the email confirmation from DB (english Part) 1) Why should you wait to fund.. as a matter of fact, its advisable to apply for visa interview first. and if the funds is ready before or after your interview, you can go ahead to fund. 2) If you attend the interview and receives an email within 1-3 days to fund your blocked account so as to complete the process, then you can arrange for the funding. I have seen a rare case where someone was asked to fund, yet he was denied Visa. Since you're going for winter, I doubt if the embassy will schedule a date for you yet.. probably by May/June (I may be wrong). Above all, be prayerful to God and all will be well ! Ok now I can confirm that with TIN from FIRS, u'll have no problem opening ur account with DB. I resent the DB forms, wrote NIGERIA, filled the TIN in the space provided, attached a copy of TIN slip & I received my acct details in six working days. Hope this helps someone. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Toroze: It's a lovely place to study, the school is good and especially if your course is in English. The city is cool with viel Americans, so English is a common language here aber if you're not really into IT or programming getting a job within Kaiserslautern may be a big ordeal, cause most of the companies need a good knowledge of German, but military base Ramstein is a stone throw away, you can get English $ paid jobs there. Jobs within the school are for only those that can speak German. But you can still get at departments. The University expects you to Pass a German A1 strength course within your 1st year. Again, TUKL is HIGHLY RATED especially for Computer Science; course workload can be much but it's all good; it will be nice to see a new Nigerian btw, they ain't many here. So far only 6 Nigerians are in the entire institution. Also, I just read from your previous post, try to Bump your GP up a bit more; big preference is giving; i.e greater chances if you can apply with about 70% upward. 1 Like |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by ogagaejay: 3:10am On Feb 23, 2016 |
As we wait for our visas. Food for thoughts. Guys, do you agree that the difference between deutsch and german is similar to pidgin English and English? I don't agree, do you? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Williamso(m): 6:31am On Feb 23, 2016 |
ogagaejay:I don't get this. Deutsch is Deutsch and German is English. German is just the English word for Deutsch. It's just like saying there's a difference between English(English) and Englisch(Deutsch) or French(English) and Français(Français) 1 Like 1 Share |

Good day all, please does anyone have any idea about the post office at port Harcourt, if it still functions, I would like to send an application through them, pls responses would be appreciated |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by ogagaejay: 10:07am On Feb 23, 2016 |
Painpill: Williamso: we can also learn from this forum not only discussing visa . My respond, Germans are the people and not the language in English, just as Deutschers are the people in deutsch . And the Germanic language is called deutsch in deutsch and Dutch in english. Who is not laughing because I am. Lol So guys ,don't say you don't speak german, say you don't speak the German language or better still you don't speak Dutch or Deutsch |
