Though I've never tried any of the dental clinics listed above, one place i got a referral was the Military Hospital Dental Clinic at Bonny Camp, Victoria Island. They have state of the art equipments, expert dentists & surgeons as well as very affordable. I extracted a tooth for just N3,000. In short e make sense die!

Does one need referral to visit the hospital or can I just go there myself?

Please I need to know which dental clinic is best in Lagos. Because I need to have a tooth extraction or fill. I have a tooth which has totally decayed, it gives my headache, discomfort and pains. I don't know where to have it extracted or filled. Please i need directions as soon as possible.

Please try Rjolad dental and maxillofacial surgery clinic .you will be managed by well trained specialist.I had a tooth extraction done there and it was in a jiffy. Walk into the clinic any day of the week. They also provide emergency services in the night.

Nothing like speculative financial gains and we are not forcing anyone to buy, indeed the toothpaste is working 1dafully, a lot of people have used it and it worked for them. It is an imported toothpaste for any kind of tooth problem.

With about 30yrs of administrative, medicinal, surgical, research and practice, they boast of the best dental equipments, best dentists, best dental assistants ... which are continually open to almost the richest wealth of dental experiences over the years.

I took them to be "just" one of the best dental hospitals/clinic, but a trial convinced me that they stand out tops even amidst the best. wink

I have a morbid fear of dentists which started from 2008.
I was referred to a dentist in LUTH for an extraction on 24th December 2008 precisely. he took an xray of the tooth and asked me to come back by 5pm for the extraction. he did not advice me against consuming anything. so I went into surulere to see a friend and wait there till 5pm and there was a celebration going on in his house so we made merry with wine and food. I called the doctor by 5pm and he shifted the appointment to the next morning. and so the party continued till late.
the next morning I arrived for my extraction and after about four jabs of the anaesthetic drug the dentist started but I could feel every thing he was doing. he gave me more shots and proceeded even with the pain. I tried to bear it hoping it would be over soon but after 2 hours of his struggling with the tooth and dissecting my gum with all sorts of equipment. I was writhing on the floor with pain and told him I could not bear it anymore. by this time he had exhausted his anaesthetic drug and we had to stroll into mushin through the back gate to buy more.
being on a Christmas day everywhere was dry but we were lucky to get an open pharmacy.
back in his flat in LUTH. he gave me 6 more shots in my gums but still I could not bear the pain.
so he asked me to go home and come back after a week. that was my worst Christmas.
the only thing I could eat that week was boiled yam and sauce eba dipped in okro and sent to the back of my throat with a fork.
a week later I faced the dentist again and after an hour he finally pulled it out but not before breaking the tooth in two.
fast forward to 2016. I had a cavity which was beginning to give me serious pain so I summoned the courage to visit a dentist. a middle aged woman who listened to my last horrifying experience and promised to make it painless root canal process.
I was anxious all through the process though there was minimal discomfort until when she was almost done cleaning inside the tooth and was flushing it with a syringe. the needle jabbed the vein at the root of the tooth.
it was as if a bomb exploded in my head and my body could not comprehend anything again. the last thing I knew was just that I was not aware of anything but that pain again. as my wife who bursted into the consultation room narrated later. I groaned loudly and my body started convulsion and the dentist had to drop everything and started pumping my chest to revive me.
I came around a few minutes later but the pain took another 10 minutes to subside. but then all people in the clinic were gathered outside the door in fear.
I finally came back a week later to have the hole filled up.
now I have another hole to fill. I have decided to sign an agreement permitting the dentist to use general anaesthesia but I hear that the cost may be very high.
Can I get truly painless dental treatment in lagos?

This is actually crazy, Ive never used Nairaland before. This is my first time. Hi guys.
So I saw this question, and i had to share.
I live in Ibadan, school in Ibadan, Im a medical student, but I came to lagos to see a friend and spent a while. Heres the thing, im one of those people that has never had issues with his teeth, as most of you probably havent either...but my friend suddenly started experiencing this terrible tooth pain, terrible. It was crazy. I know now that its called a dental emergency what happened.

Long story short, we heard about this place, Choice dental or something and went there and it was top class...pure world class treatment mehn. I found this really short youtube video that has their contact details
