Corona i-Teach is a programme aimed at empowering and equipping young graduates for 21st century classroom practice, irrespective of their initial academic discipline. This 21st century teacher development programme intends to attract our nation’s most promising future leaders into the teaching profession. The programme will involve a 4 month wide spectrum core teacher and personal development training programme which will utilise various forms of training methodologies useful for adult learning and engagement.

Qualification Requirements

- A second class upper (2-1) from a recognised institution in and outside Nigeria.
- Open ONLY to fresh graduates who completed NYSC not more than a year ago.
- Applicants must be within 21 and 28 years of age.
- Readiness to embrace teaching as a first and preferred career option.
- No prior teaching experience required.
- Above average ICT skills.
- Strong communication skills, proficiency in a foreign language is an added advantage.

There is a link attached to the mail sent and it is link for practise which will enable us to know what to expect before the actual day of the test

Further to your application for the Corona iTeach Program, you have been shortlisted for an Aptitude Test. The test will be administered online and will be available for you to access from 12:00AM on Sunday the 20th of March to 12:00PM on Monday the 21st of March (i.e. 48 hours). You will be able to access and take the Aptitude Test using any electronic device with internet access. The Aptitude Test will consist of 2 sections (one Quantitative section and one Verbal section). Each section will have 25 questions and run for 30 minutes.


To register for the Aptitude Test and assist you with your preparations, please follow the instructions below immediately (to be completed before you take the Aptitude Test):


Go to www.totalprep.ng

Click on the “Start Learning” button at the top of the page.

Fill in your details on the “REGISTER and Start Learning” form and click on “Sign Me Up”

You will receive an email from no-reply@totalprep.ng requesting that you activate your TotalPrep account. Click on the link provided in the email to activate your account.

Sign In

Click on the links http://www.totalprep.ng/practice-test/corona-iteach-verbal-reasoning-practice-tests and http://www.totalprep.ng/practice-test/quantitative-reasoning-practice-test-for-corona-teachers-institute to access the Practice Tests for Verbal and Quantitative sections respectively.


IMPORTANT: You must attempt and complete each Practice Test AT LEAST ONCE before 12 Midnight on Saturday March 19th to complete your registration.


Once you have completed the Practice Tests, the link for you to access the Corona iTeach Program Aptitude Test will be sent to your email. Simply click on the link to begin your Aptitude Test.

Successful candidates will be invited for a second round, a written test – onThursday the 24th of March.

Please let someone help clarify the message. Are we to take the practise test before 12am today or 12am 2mrw which is march 19.
Who has been able to do the practise tests? Have been trying it since this evening but the display is 'Invalid Activation code'. Please help oh! is it that the link to activate ur totalprep account is not active yet? Please someone reply.

Please does anybody know the recruitment stages of Corona?

For guys still having issues with the practise test, I was able to do mine yesterday Night. I finished both Verbal and Quantitative around 11.30pm. One thing I observed which you may also try is that, after filling in my details with TOTALPREP for the Register and Start Learning which I did using a SYSTEM on GOOGLE CHROME browser, I clicked on d 'activation link' in the mail sent to me after signing up wit total prep. I clicked on dt link immediately, I had tried registering 7times before dt time and got d message invalid activation code. All those 7times I clicked d link about 2/3mins after dier response mail was sent to my box. So try what I did that worked. It may work for you too. I wish all of us all the best. We will definitely make it. Or u can alternatively call the numbers included in the mail or text message to tender ur complaints. It is Well in Jesus name.

I just checked what u v said on previous thread and noticed those that that wrote the test last year were told that for them to proceed in the process, they have to pay #10000. I think we wld ask for it during the written test.

I don't think so cos for them to be asking for payment of 10000 before proceeding( I checked previous thread) and in a newspaper online, the school mentioned that at the end of the scheme only few lucky ones wld be chosen and the rest wld be left for other schools. No benefits was mentioned

From my research, I understand that the successful ones will be well paid. But Does anybody know if they give stipends for the training? It will be an irony for them to request for payment.

They requested for a payment of 10k last year and those who refused were able to write the first test but later tld they could only proceed after paying the amount
And I think it's the same thing that will happen this year because some of us were already told to pay 10,000 while some of us didn't see the request

Wonders shall never end in Nigeria. How can they be requesting 10000 naira from someone looking for a Job. Please do you know if they pay stipends during the training? This information is important so I can make informed decisions. I am already calculating how much I will spend travelling down to Lagos if I am successful in the first stage
