We all knew the hike was artificial. Artificial market forces can only last so long. Those sudden BDC merchants that thought they could steer the market have been shamed.

So where are the mofos that said that it will keep increasing because of fall in oil and no product to export. Ifeanyi Ubah insisted that it was an artificial increase yet people were insulting him. Kids everywhere on nairaland forming economists. I guess some people are already watching themselves since Ubah made that declaration on Channels

Fayose won't see anything good in this development except to giving doomed prophecies.

Naija has got to be great regardless of enemies of progress....

The body language of Ifeanyi Uba definitely forced some forex rats to release the forex they were hiding. Just the same way his statement about flooding Nigeria with fuel forced every fuel hoarding rat to release the products they were hiding in June 2015 thereby ending Nigeria's worst fuel scarcity ever. The strong statement of Buhari that he wasnt still going to devalue even if it got to N1000, that also helped to cripple the activities of the hoarders.

The lesson from these events is that, sometimes you can get something done without necessarily doing anything.

the FG have since swinged into action

Maybe they didn't have any answer to the dollar
issue!

The Man I Learned Even Staked N500bn of his assets

me also thinks that even the FG might have an insider

Out of all the comments here no one knows exactly what is happening. I just pity Nigerian youths, why won't they mess with our resources when you low nothing about the economy. Buy dollar now that it's cheap don't relax at home and be singing Kumbaya all day cos when supply falls again dollar will shuttle. This is what we call consolidation in forex.
