The hardest working governor, His Excellency, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi state, spreading good roads all over the state.

This is Afikpo/Abakaliki road. Some parts of this road was hell on earth to ply. The horror of it literally reduced your life span each time you ride through it. As you can see, succor is here, thanks to DNU. Tarring has started, and soon, the rest will be history. Images captured yesterday.

Dear H.E DNU, you are writing your name in gold, what you are doing in the area of roads in Ebonyi state, just when we were getting used to bad roads, can never ever be forgotten, history can never forget you. Neither man nor God can ever forget. By aggressively making sure everywhere in the state capital and other areas never ever remembered in the history of this state, is motor-able and tarred, you will remain appreciated by all and sundry. Because no one spits out sugar. Thank you, our Ekubaaaaaroha. Living up to a name is good business indeed.

YOUR AREA: Biko if your area has yet to feel the DNU bulldozer be patient, be patient, it is coming for sure. He is not gonna leave out any LGA/constituency. He is a man on a mission, obsessed with getting things right.

I'm not disputing, someone mentioned same a few weeks ago, I'm just showing the poster what iron rods have to do with roads.


I dont care how a road is built, so long as it is durable and comfortable. What I do not like is people wasting tax-payers money on roads (politicians like to build roads because it is one thing the electorate can seOn pointe) only for the roads to crumble in no time. I live in the SW and I can say the roads built in the 70s and 80s are still standing, the ones built after fail with regularity because they are built for show. Build a road well and build it once and it will last for decades. Build a road badly and you will be rebuilding and patching it many times wasting money and killing innocent people through accidents.

It is an outdated technique bro. You may need to pull all them rod for maintenance ....which is not reasonably practicable. Better durable cost effective methods are now readily abailable.

Rochas is a course to Imo state. A whole Imo state couldn't boast of one quality gud road like dis one under Rochas Okoro Awusa regime as a gover of Imo state. Rochas is the only governor in Nigeria who built road and it got damaged within the next 6 months, what a shame to Ndi Imo
