Oliseh is a baby, why resign when its just a month to a crucial game. Anyway some of us are not surprised as we saw it coming. From day one. Oliseh was a mistake causing all sorts of controversies from the way he disgraced Enyeama out of the team till his senseless rants on YouTube. The lesson here is that great soccer analysts don't make great coaches, I hope Nff will not go and hire John Barnes now because he speaks good grammar on supersports. Shame to the likes of Segun Odegbami and the sports journalists who hoodwinked nff to hire Oliseh. I say SHAME!!!! 3 Likes |

Well I don't blame him... I only blame his employers... 1. Just after how long u sent one of the most committed players in the team home... 2. U kept coaching on supersport like studio is the same with stadium... 3. U went online to rant cos u were criticized for FAILING which obviously you did... cos I can't imagine a lack Lustre performance of a team u claimed u were coaching... no one is saying they should win all matches but at least let us see good performance... 4. U claimed to have won more matches in a short time but u failed to realise the oppositions u have... 5. U criticized Keshi who restored Nigeria's glory in Afcon and the worldcup... nd don't forget we were all optimistic to watch the super eagles cos of the kind of performance they had... 6. Mr Oliseh/NFF... m sorry to say u FAILED... Regards. 2 Likes |

Good radiance to bad rubbish..how did he get the job in the first instance ? What were the criteria used in employing the guy..his uncontrollable anger made him the worst coach ever hired by picnic led NFF. All this paddy paddy type of recruitment should stop forthwith to develop our football in the country 1 Like |

walescounis:Bros i disagree no one is an island...we have a lot of people that are talented even better to do the job.....no position can ever be vacant in a Nation like Nigeria.....i bet you ....The man OLISEH have done a lot of disaffection in the team and the NFF.....So we are happy to miss him.....In every situation Give God thanks.......Less than a year he is complaining.....he would have resign since he was just marking time to receive all his owed packages and he does just that immediately he receive alert from the bank.....i remember this OLISEH guy was the torn of the flesh during the reign of Stephen Keshi as the coach....he peddle and paint the guy red so that NFF will sack Keshi 1 Like |

Why do we keep blaming the wrong people for obvious mistakes made by the NFF NFF is a bunch of unskilled and greedy group of people hell bent on making money at the expense of Nigeria's dwindling football prowess I see no one to blame here but Amaju and his bunch of clowns called board Sacking Keshi was a way of NFF inability to twist his hands in their favour as Keshi proved too stubborn for them It must be said that, these NFF guys impose players on coaches never allowing the coach make the right selections Oliseh has no pedigree in coaching yet Amaju and his board opted for him as a replacement for Keshi I SMH for Nigeria 1 Like |

This guy shud ve been sacked b4 now because of his vituperations on youtube against the NFF. But because the NFF people do not even know what they are doing and they are most of the time fighting for their pockets, they ve allowed this arrogant incompetent asshole embarrass them with his resignation! 1 Like |

fctguy:Pedigree in coaching does not necessarily matter. Many with pedigree fail and many without succeed. Mourinho,Guardiola, Di Matteo to name a few. It is impossible for us to judge Oliseh as a coach though as person he comes across as quite unlikeable this is equally true for Mourinho. The real problem is the NFF It seems there is a strong aversion to seeing any Nigerian be too successful as a coach |

There's a saying that goes, "easier said than done" Oliseh is a big-talker. No doubts he's a good soccer pundit and knows a lot about football tactics BUT HE'S SUCH A POOR MANAGER AND COACH. He was Keshi's biggest critic yet he hates criticisms. Truth is even the NFF needs "re-branding". Meanwhile, you look so much like a lady I know who attends/attended Unizik Medical school/college, College of health sciences. Could this be you? I wish I could recall your name right now. After you might have done the worst by sending our dearest and amiable Captain - Vincent Enyeama - away!!!. NO! you should have stayed cuz its your birth right to coach d Super Eagles. Visionless Coach of the 21st Century! |
Re: Oliseh Resigns As Super Eagles Coach! by Nobody: 9:26am On Feb 26, 2016 |
homesteady:You shouldn't like him. He wasn't a terrible choice. NFF is the problem of our football. They are so corrupt. They want someone whom they could turn around anytime like a kid. That's why former CIV coach turned them down. Every coach has had his or her dark days anyway. Oliseh did the right thing. He knew they were plotting his downfall with the match next month. So, he had to leave the guys like a shot. |
