Wife of the President Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled a new vessel of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas company which will now join in the fleet of the organization. The new vessel named LNG ABUJA 11 was unveiled in Seoul, South Korea, on Thursday. Aisha Buhari expressed confidence that despite challenges in the global energy sector, Nigeria and South Korea will continue to occupy important positions with respect to international energy, security and development. “Nothing makes me proud than the knowledge that Nigerians and Nigerian companies actively participated and benefited directly from the construction of the new (ship) vessel,” she said. According to a statement signed by Nadabo X.Y., the wife of the president said that “the ship has Nigeria written all over it” and expressed hope that participating companies in the sector will continue to export to shipyards across the world and make Nigeria to shine. The vessel is billed for the fleet of the NLNG and specifically for one of its subsidiaries, BONNY GAS COMPANY. It was built by SAMSUNG AND HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES South Korea. The statement claimed that the vessel was ”built with local content that earned Nigeria vast export revenue” and ”a good number of some Nigerian youths were part of the Crew in the new vessel.” Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/02/aisha-buhari-unveils-new-nigeria.html 2 Likes 1 Share

Beremx: Shameless hypocrites. I thought the APC promised to derecognize the office of the First Lady during its campaign? Today, that office is not only strong, but even organises foreign trips for Aisha Buhari with the official presidential jets, grants her Special Assistants, and even has her hosting numerous official parties including that disgraceful Social Media Rice Agents party, all with public funds. If you know you aren't going to fulfil a promise, why make it? The thing I hate about these APC Rats is not just that they're criminals (like the PDP), but they have this FAKE sense of holier-than-thou mental delusion going on as well. God forbid! 78 Likes 6 Shares |

She holds a ceremonial position she is not signing any contract with any one or for the country. She holds the position to launch a ship. She has every right to be there as the wife of the president even if Buhari himself was there she would have been the one to launch the ship that's the unwritten rules in maritime industry. Men don't and should not be launching ships or anything carrying people. ( Ship Naming and Launching Procedures On the day of ship naming and launching, the new ship is tastefully decorated with flags and long rolls of ribbons. Thereafter, a woman is asked to cut the ribbon, and smash a bottle of champagne against the ship’s bow. As the champagne bottle collides with the bow of the ship, the drums are hit hard and a band of musicians start playing music. ) http://maritime-connector.com/wiki/ship-naming-and-launching/ 40 Likes 5 Shares |

Cheers to Hypocrisy! Once upon a time, APC sycophants were celebrating this: “The ideal platform from which she will be useful to Nigeria’s women and children is still being thought out. Once this has been concluded on, Mrs Buhari’s role will become clearer to all Nigerians. There will be nothing shady or hidden about it. There will be no access to public funds. It will be purely private and voluntary”, he said. Whomever asked them to make useless promises. How Samsung visit and this LNG vessel unveiling is relevant to women and children, we may never know 14 Likes |
