dubylhover:If u like, u can laff in Swahili. Spurs have enough juice to knockout Dortmund. Dortmund are good no doubt. But Spurs are currently the most in form English team in Europe across all competitions. And now that they dont have any FA Cup distractions, they can now focus on the league and europa. Spurs ve what it takes to knock out Dortmund. |

AdeLaNa1: lol..you seriously think that? spurs was handed the worst team they cud dream of...and whats dortmunds bizness if spurs is d best team in england in European. competitions? any typical spurs fan wud av loved to facr any other of d 15 teams left but bvb...dortmund are very clear favourites..its a 70 30 thing.. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 8:51pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
dubylhover:Yes both teams would ve loved to avoid eachother. And yes its not Dortmund's business whether Spurs are in form or not. But how can u even say the tie is 70-30 in favor of Dortmund?? Both teams are equally playing well and its definitely going to be a 50-50 chance. And my money is on Spurs to knock Dortmund out. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 8:56pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
AdeLaNa1: it might seem like an even tie,but believe me its not..bvb plays at higher intensity with higher tempo...spurs dont really have d experienced midfielder to match bvb boys..I predict a 4 1 aggregate scoreline....if spurs knock out bvb, then they wud lift d Europa... |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by raumdeuter: 9:05pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
dubylhover: I disagree with you Both Dortmund and Spurs would have preferred to avoid one another Unfortunately for both Dortmund face Bayern the week before Europa and I think Spurs face Arsenal Both are evenly matched both are attacking teams. Though Dortmund players might be slightly more experienced in Europe. I still think its 50-50 |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 9:11pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
raumdeuter: during d last round when i saw d draw of Dortmund vs Porto,I was expecting a really tough evenly match....but my broad,I watched d 1st leg at d iduna park, those boys are animals....Dortmund Porto was an even match...d way it was sure to me that barca wud eliminate arsenal is how I also view this bvb tie...I've missed only like 5 of d matches this season..I'm a closet bvb fan....but we wud have to wait Nd see |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by raumdeuter: 9:17pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
dubylhover: I watched the Porto tie too. You have to admit Porto havent been doing well this season, they are currently 3rd in their league 6 points behind their leader. In the game Dortmund scored very early like in the 3rd min, and the other goal was a deflection. I would admit that Dortmund played better but Spurs too are in form this season and one of the better sides in their league I think the match would be close |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 9:25pm On Feb 26, 2016 |
raumdeuter: yea,you have a point there..quite alright spurs is really playing attractive football, but please stop using their position in d league as a yardstick..in my honest opinion,d EPL is shiit this season, the so called big teams shud b ashamed of demselves that Leicester is topping d league by this time...and this good football spurs is playing, sevilla,Villarreal, even Valencia play it also,I guess y spurs own is often talked about is becos of d current standard of other teams in d league |

Reacting to Thursday’s victory, Van Gaal said, as reported by the club’s official website: “Nobody is talking about Morgan Schneiderlin.http://www.squawka.com/news/manchester-united-5-1-fc-midtjylland-nobody-is-talking-about-schneiderlin-says-van-gaal/607420 |

DE GEA COULD FACE THE GUNNERS Louis van Gaal is hopeful goalkeeper David De Gea will return to face Arsenal on Sunday after missing Manchester United's last three games. The Spain international was injured in the warm-up of the Reds' Europa League first leg tie away to Midtjylland eight days ago and has since been receiving treatment. Van Gaal said at the time he believed De Gea's problem was not too serious and the manager hopes he will be able to call upon the stopper at Old Trafford this weekend, but there remains a doubt over defender Chris Smalling, who sat out Thursday night's 5-1 second-leg win over the Danish side. "I expect [David can return] because I saw the way he was today," said van Gaal during a briefing with reporters after Thursday night's win. "Chris is a question mark, but you never know," he added. Further question marks remain over the fitness of Anthony Martial, who the Reds lost in the warm-up before the second leg, but there was some positive injury news with the return to action of Marcos Rojo after nearly three months out, and both Antonio Valencia and Marouane Fellaini are seemingly not too far away from full fitness either. Asked whether Martial would be available against Arsene Wenger's side, van Gaal admitted: "I don’t know because it has happened before the match. I’ve talked with him. I have talked with the physiotherapist that already had control of him. I cannot say, but it is not as heavy as everybody thinks, but you never know. "I’m very happy with Marcos that he played 10 or 15 minutes and how he showed already his form and shape, he was very good. But I have to build him up in the games and that’s not so easy, because he only had two training sessions with me. On the first day, he was with the second team and, on the second day, he was with us. So I take also a risk to do that, but I think that I have to do that now with 15 minutes and then 30 minutes and like that and I hope we can build him up. "Valencia is also coming back and Fellaini too - in the month of March, a lot of players are coming back and then we have a strong selection again." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2016/Feb/manchester-united-goalkeeper-david-de-gea-could-face-arsenal-on-sunday-at-old-trafford.aspx?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=ManUtd |

Wayne Rooney was a fraction away from suffering a career-threatening injury when damaging knee ligaments earlier this month. He is expected to be out until April, but it is understood that the affected area was close to his ACL, which would have ruled him out of the European Championships and potentially the rest the of year. Rooney was not even aware he had suffered the injury when playing on in the recent 2-1 defeat at Sunderland. Had he torn his Anterior Cruciate Ligament he would almost certainly have faced an operation and as much as 9 months of rehabilitation. The initial prognosis for his return was six to eight weeks - and he is on course to back in action in April. That would give him a good chance of recovering full fitness for Euro 16 - as well as aiding United’s bid to qualify for the Champions League. [Source: M.E.N] #MUFC #Rooney |

Bastian Schweinsteiger continued his rehabilitation from a knee injury at Manchester United 's Carrington training complex on Friday. Schweinsteiger has not played since suffering the injury against Sheffield United last month and was granted a holiday by manager Louis van Gaal . The 31-year-old headed to Dubai for rehab and to cheer on girlfriend Ana Ivanovic in the WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. Schweinsteiger this week hinted he could be back for United's Europa League round-of-16 first leg in March. "I should be completely back on board in March. A medial ligament tear takes time, but everything is healing well. I know my body, everything will be okay. "In about five days, I'll begin to start running again and five days after that I should be training with a ball again." [Source: BILD] #MUFC #Schweinsteiger |
