even among yorubas we have our diversity. ... Itsekiri and Ilaje for example are so similiar that if Ilaje is yoruba I see no reason why itsekiri cannot be yoruba

Itsekiri is an oil rich community in Delta, And some part of ondo/Edo.. they speak a language very related to Yoruba and ilaje, (Mind u they re nt yoruba's) They have same culture with there Edo/urhobo brothers, Itsekiri account for Nigeria 40% oil production.. so hope you now know about the great tribe?
