brainys:Hi Brainys, as for the problem, you can try to restore factory settings, but remember to back up important files. If the problem still exists, you can try to take your phone to our Carlcare Service Center and ask our colleagues there to check it for you. Thank you! |

Please help out. Since December 2015 till now, my phone's data and wireless connection is permanently on. Each time I switch it off, it will switch on again immediately by itself. The only thing I do is to put my phone on flight mode, if not my battery will run down within a short time. I hardly receive calls because of this wahala. Please what do I do? N/B My phone is Samsung Galaxy S4. |

Re: Phone Engineers On Nairaland Willing To Assist You - Part II by bobo65(m): 3:11pm On Feb 22, 2016 |
fixzylani: Its flashing that is the fastest solution for that tab U can do the following tho If the battery is detachable then remove it and re insert it If it's not, press the volume up and down button together with the power button together for like 10 to 20 secs, the tab should restart after that Or u can just unplug the tab and leave it to be showing the erasing till the battery dies off then plug it and let it charge a bit then try putting it on If all these doesn't work, then go flash it |

Re: Phone Engineers On Nairaland Willing To Assist You - Part II by bobo65(m): 4:01pm On Feb 22, 2016 |
Rostel2: Launch play store and goto settings Untick "auto update apps" The upgrading just means some apps are being configured But it shouldn't happen every time u turn Ur phone on, normally happens wen u download a ROM update or some new apps |

Yungbitz:It has t do with the HOST FILE in your .etc folder on your root folder in the device. If the phone is rooted, simply download ES FILE EXPLORER Go to /root Look for .etc Click and look for the host file Open the host file with a noite editor You'll see a long list of IPs . Just delete all and input 127.0.0.1. local host Save and exit. Reboot your phone and you are good to go. #share your testimonies. 1 Like |
