Well everyone can see it was the year 2000, long before Buhari thought of becoming a civilian president. It has long been public knowledge that allegations of massive corruption trailed Buhari not just as PTF Chairman but as far back as his days as Oil minister in the 70's. Naturally, there are many people who don't care about such allegations as long as they are politically benefiting from the system

I read all the Newswatch magazines on the PTF, not in one issue was Buhari accused personally. The was a consulting company that PTF used that was accused of sone things. The ESTATE and MONEY stolen when you read the article inside the PTF were not even said to be Buharis
Please look for the back issue of Newswatch, now owned by Jimoh Ibrahim and read "inside" carefully.

Am regreting why I cannot lay hand on this magazine. No day passes without me not buying this magazine. That cannot happen again. We were not aware that Nigerians will hates each other. Little did most people know that the north and west will come together and fight the south south and the east. We do not know that Buhari will develop so much hate for people outside his region even thouth there were signs, we thought it will eventually melt away. Since GEJ tried and reduced this tribal, religious dislike, Buhari just renewed it in VERY BIG way. For example, it took Buhari less than two weeks to sentence Tompolo and declare his properties for sale. Even if Tompolo was corrupt, what Buhari did clearly show he is tribal. All his appointments were clear done on tribal and religious bases. Dumbest and dunce man in human shape.
As at today, whatever Buhari does, i will personally laminate it, file in inside my woodrope. For example, I have laminated many copies of the news papers where he said, those who gave him FIVE VOTES will pass through hell.
Let him come and deny it as he denied the attempts he made in trying to Islamize Nigeria in those hey days.

Every Northern person I know is fully behind Buhari even the PDP ones.

The one North saying is not dead. Absolutely!!! There is nothing Buhari does in the next four years that a northern will criticise but in the South, the South west has an amazing way of selling the region to the North.
Enjoy my brothers and sisters from the south west. At least we are all feeling the hardship, if anything the south east has a unique economy void of dollar impact. So guys, enjoy your new found love with the North.

It is very unfortunate that Nigerians suffers from a very short memory syndrome.
I have an idea!
A Wikipedia kind of website should be made that will be an Hall of shame for Nigerian politicians.
Where a records of their misdeeds will be displayed for all to see for future reference from the day they started as politicians.
Imagine this man was sold to us as an incorruptible fellow.

That was 2000 right? It was pure political game. Check it, PDP was in power then and buhari was running in another party for presidency.

So I just stumbled on this and I'm shocked... What's your take on this?

OP still bitter that his party lost the General election last year. Just a little assignment sum all the alleged loot and compare them with "DASUKIGATE" and tell yourself the truth. Also put side by side PTF achievement. The bore hole and conference hall is standing tall and solid. The last time Onitsha-Enugu-ABA received better touch was during the PTF. 1414 school bus given to UNN and other university is still much functional.

Nonsense post.

@ Slap1

Thanks for posting the full article. You have helped us greatly now that we can read the details and make an informed judgement of the character of our leader and how provable and tenable the allegations are.

That is much better than relying on cover headlines which may just be sensational to sell the magazine. That was my initial gripe when somebody said that the content of the magazine was 'locked'

Regards.

So you can also agree with me that all the allegations labelled against PDP members have to do with politics too right?

dulaman:
Year 2000. PDP in power(obasanjo) and Buhari in opposition (APP). Its politics
Re: Newswatch Magazine Headline About Buhari And PTF: Throwback by vigasimple(m): 12:28pm On Feb 27, 2016
If you are a Fulani Born to rule man you cannot be 'corrupt' like saint buhari unless Dasuki for his arrest of 'the saint buhari'

The CHANGE is about power returning to the North by any means necessary and OBJ and company are just tools to achieve that plus ex spirit de corps of the Military boys otherwise who in their right senses will replace a more utter clueless Buhari for a weak GEJ.

It is called Tribalism, regionalism and religious bigotry.

The way you silly lying folks try all means to cover this man's heinous acts often gets me perplexed.. Are you telling me that Fela was telling lies when he sang about the $2.8billion that disappeared under Obasanjo and Buhari's nose, knowing the implications of even telling the truth under a military tyrant, talk more telling lies?

All APC supporters are either sick or brain dead..

aariwa:
That was nigeria of then when nobody was thinking of the implications of libel or defamation of a person's character without any credible evidence. If it were now ,Dokpesi 's case in terms of out of court settlement would be a child's play in comparison to what Newswatch would see in court.
