Histrings08: Thank God I followed my instincts and what one of my best ever musician said. He had pointed out about the looting that went on back then and under OBJ and Buhari's rule only for OBJ to throw his mum from some story buildings while he was later jailed too. Up till now, he has not told us what happened to the $2.8billion that went missing under his nose as petroleum minister. Believe that the man has never looted at your own peril. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Progressive01: Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Of all people to believe, it's OBJ? Another co-devil like the holier than thou Buhary? I rather believe the devil than believe OBJ, because the whole looting in the 70s was masterminded by the duo. OBJ and Bujary founded corruption before IBB legalized it. 1 Like |

LesbianBoy: Spread it all you like. Wail as loud as possible, scream if neccessary, you can not change the fact that a goro chewing dullard defeated your Zoological PHD holder. I'll rather be that dullard than be the ineffectual buffoon. And just to educate you, 2 different commitees by different administration and all said the accusations where politically motivated, but would you know that? No, because even with your age, you can't read the right piece. I REST MY CASE |

This FALSEHOOD UPON FALSEHOOD. I have read the supposed article. Nowhere is it said that Buhari looted PTF. I bought this copy of Newswatch when a lot of the commentactors on this thread were not yet born. Nothing in the article says Buhari stole any money. Obasanjo also confirmed the same. This is CORRUPTION FIGHTING BACK and it will only bring a tightening of more screws on the relatives of the OP and his paymasters who sponsored this mis information. In fact it is commendable that a lot of mud is being slung. This is finally what will kill corruption in Nigeria. |

lereinter: Your Buhari was already stealing before GEJ became a politician. Deal with it. The news is up there and you leave it to come and attack me? Why not disprove the report? |

francizy: I have said it. PDP supporters are the ones that will finally join hands to kill corruption in Nigeria. Please dig into all arms of government. We want to see all corrupt people in jail including the APC office holders. However this Newswatch article is LOW IQ. You guys have to try harder. Nigerians who know , Nigerians above the age of 45 have read it many times. That magazine was published in Oregun, in Ikeja. The old men who read it before most of your parents got married were in front of the queues to vote for Buhari. There are other interesting ones about 2.8 billion and 52 suitcases. My parents also used to discuss those over dinner,. They were also the first in line to vote for Buhari. Buhari's anti corruption credentials are sterling and we who voted for him have more IQ and are better informed than the kids deceiving themselves on this thread. 2 Likes 1 Share |

slap1: The report is already disproven. The PTF was 75% clean. The magazine you are talking about was published by Mr Ray Ekpu and some 3x colleagues of Dele Giwa. It is because you guys are young and so ignorant. You are shoving things in our face that we read decades ago and threw somewhere and still voted for Buhari. How idiotic? This is new discovery to you? This trash is exciting you? Shame on you. You better go and scan Daily Times of the 70s about 2.8 billion and Daily Times of the 80s about 52 suitcases so that we can slap your face with it and tell you to stop doing "break dancing" in 2016. 1 Like |

francizy: What will shock you guys is that the publishers of the newspaper will re educate you about that story. It is also very childish to think this will stop anti corruption drive. If you know Buhari this will only make things worse for looters. In fact, as a corruption hater I am thanking you for bringing these stuff out and spreading it, As they say these days, " the suffering that awaits looters is just coming out of the gym" |

Adminisher: I wonder who is a kid. Did you take time to read the full post. Indeed its a great reminders since Nigerians have short memory. I do recall vividly now. On Obasanjo assuming office as President he faulted the operation of the PTF which was considered a parallel Government and was considered unconstitutional. Premised on this the Committee was set up to wind down the Fund. As you can see in the report the President was a complete dullard that he virtually handed over the daily operations of the FUND to the APC- Afri Project Consultant . Besides there were several irregularities in the handling and disbursement of Public fund just like HE himself is now accusing DASUKI. The same Engr. in charge of APC died in a mysterious manner when he was requested to give details of the Funds in their disposal. Thank God for democracy BUHARI would have find a way to silence us all. He his incapable of any intellectual discuss just like most of his fanatical supporters that have made of god out of Buhari. We shall all see its a matter of time. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Adminisher: What a tanker load of watery faecal deposit. They think they have better IQ than people who are reasonable and sensible enough to believe reasonable freedom fighters like Fela. How many of the bigoted old men you mentioned have better IQ than the one Fela had? You think being guided by silly religious and tribal bigotry equates to possessing high IQ? Little wonder Nigeria will never stop being a third world/developing country. By the way, I hope you use your IQ to alleviate poverty and take Nigeria out of this recession presently being experienced. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Adminisher: Another truck load of watery faeces. Who gives a hoot about looters? They can all die for all I care. My only concern is that of a criminal masquerading as a holy angel. A criminal that looted us dry as a minister, PTF chair and as a tyrant. I'm also concerned about a foolish set of people rejoicing when some facade anti corruption battle is only taken to the camp of the opposition while some elements are left to loot us dry within the ruling party. Only fools will fall for all this useless mind games played by some set of power drunk and incompetent goats. Also, no apologies if I take the words of Fela over that of your god and that of Ebola Ewu. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I beg to defer. This publication (March, 2000) was less than one year into OBJ's 1st tenure. Buhari only joined the opposition in 2002/2003 in preparation for 2004 elections. dulaman: |

jamesibor: Is this the so called report that indicted Buhari? I keep insisting that Nigeria's number one problem is not corruption, it is illiteracy. It is easier governing corrupt people than illiterate people. Now where did the report indict Buhari? This style of indictment is just like the Sanusi indictments, they looked into the accounts of PDF and conclude that this item is too much or this contract is inflated without bringing in expert valuers. If contracts can be valued at mare sight by everybody, then companies and government agencies would not need to go through elaborate tender process to award contracts. The chief executive can just guess contract sums from the top of his/her head. The report simply substituted PTF with Buhari's name and pronto, you have an indictment. I do not have the time to go through the frivolity of the so called indictments but i would just bold the relevant areas for the reader to see the indictments. They took in N500 million but by the time we came in, there wasSo the N500 million deposited at the bank was remain sitting in the account, waiting for the Adamu led committee to be formed, so they can spend it. both the bank and Buhari were dragged before President ObasanjoObasanjo is now a judge where cases of financial crimes are dragged before. Adamu neither named of the bank nor say whether or not Buhari was personally involved in the matterIf Adamu cannot name the bank or say whether or not Buhari was personally involved and still insist that Buhari was not under probe, then why waste our time with the long epistle and why are PDP/IPOB so ecstatic after reading the report? Even before the Adamu led PTF began its operations, they were already being accused of corruption and asking for bribes. There is nothing untoward about PDF hiring consultants to help it run its operations, the PDF is like the ministry of works and housing , health and education all rolled into one. You do not expect a committee of less than 10 people to run and manage all their operations. |
