Hi dear @aye88.... I got some ok deals when I did most of my research but so far PG still seems like the most reasonable when u add doctors fee and vaginal delivery so I'm leaning towards them. Still calling thou, if anything changes il let u know. Ciao!

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by BabyMandy: 5:42pm On Feb 27, 2016
Yea PG is quite reasonable for VD and ridiculously expensive for CS. Actually waiting to get all my bills before giving the breakdown. I unexpectedly had an emergency CS but all to the Glory of GOD, spent 48 hrs in d hospital and so far have received close to $13500 worth of bill, still waiting for anesthesiologist bill.

Baby's hospital accommodation per day and services -- 840 & 500
Mother's accommodation per day -- 1200
Emergency CS -- 4k, VD definitely will be less.
Other services -- abt 1500
Dr Chaudry fee still remains 2050. He was exceptional in all.
Pediatrician fee --125 for now.

Hello House, Good evening. Thanks to everyone who has contributed in one way or the other here, May God bless you all.

My husband and I had our interview today in Abuja, It was initially scheduled to hold on Monday, 29th but out of curiosity, i logged on to my account and rescheduled to today, 27th. Obviously, its more convenient to have it done on a weekend anyway. It was indeed very smooth. God really favoured us.It didnt last more than 3-5minutes. Alright, here we go.

DH: Good afternoon
VO: Good afternoon, how are you
Me: Good afternoon
(VO kept flipping through our current passports and checking all the pages and also looking through her system before the interview started)
VO: What are you going to do in Texas
DH: Vacation for me and my wife will be having our baby and I would love to witness the delivery. This is our first child.
VO: Okay, thank you. What do y'all do for xxxxxxxxxxxxxx(Name of the company)
DH: I'm xxxxxx (Started saying a whole lot about his job and strategy formulation, alignment,etc..with so much confidence)..I almost tapped him to signal to let him know its enough, let her ask the next question. But thank God he concluded just in time and impressively.
Me: I work as xxxx on xxxx project
VO: How much do you earn
DH: I earn xxxxx annually asides other allowances and performance bonus
Me: I earn xxxxx monthly
VO: When was the last time you both travelled together on vacation
DH: June 2015, Me: July last year. DH: It was June, then i remembered n quickly said, Im sorry it was June, to the UK
VO: To me- You were denied visa to Spain last year, what was the reason
DH: She was denied but the reason wasnt stated, and I had my own visa already but it was too late to reapply as we had booked our tickets to England.
VO: Theres always a reason for refusal, they always specify, please just tell me
DH: To me- What was the reason again?
Me: It had to do with my insurance booking
DH: Oh yes it was the insurance, it was booked but the officer didnt see it and had to reject the application, then again, it was late to reapply, so we visited only England.
VO: Do you know how much its going to cost you to give birth in the US
Me: About $15000 in total...Made an attempt to slip my hands in the file to bring out the budget sheet from the folder
VO: I dont need anything from you.
VO keeps typing for about 1 to 2mins and then she handed the white paper and said 'your visas have been approved'. Please do make sure you pay all your bills and keep the receipts. And do not seek public aid. If you get asked, simply reject it, otherwise it affects your chances in the future......Cant really remember all she said, but thats the summary. She also said something about the bills being about 10-15k dollars.

I also noticed that almost every woman the VO interviewed before me was asked- 'Are you pregnant' R u sure?

Apart from the fact that no single document was requested, we were not asked any question about accomodation, Doctor's correspondences, hospital, the intended travel plans, how long we intend to stay and the regular questions. And we had everything in place but like I said earlier, we were favoured and it was really smooth. DH really made the whole process easy for me by answering the few questions confidently and with specific details

Above all, Im grateful to God and everyone here who has been generous enough to share useful information.

Have a good evening!

I think it could be a mistake from their part. The balance maybe taken later. GTB? Never trust them!!!

Once They'v put a lien on the amount they cannot 'change their mind'

So if it's glitch in their system it's the luck of those that have taken advantage

I think it's more of an experiment than a glitch though but who knows

While I understand your point.. I do not think it is proper to post your salary... Of what use is it stating how much you earn on a public forum. Let me remind you that our ids r not as private as u think. A lot of people have personal relationships outside of here or tend to build a relationship at some point. Well.... I feel if anyone wants further details; you can discuss with them on a more personal note.. outside of here. It may be alrght to state how much u saved up to show as proof on your bank statement (which could serve as a guide ) but stating specific details on ur means of livelihood? No
For me, I don't want anyone to disclose such details to me neither do I expect to see it.

Besides, I'm yet to see any post that specifies individual income from the part 1 to 3.. maybe its an oversight but v just not come across it.

This is just my own perspective.
Thanks

Lady G... This one you post this morning I no gree o.
Future readers that want to go and have their babies must have saved enough or earn enough to convince the VO they are capable of settling their bills. It's not by knowing another's salary. Even if they know, would they go to the embassy and say that's what they earn or will they change jobs/quickly get promoted etc. I don't understand this POV my sis. Torchlight am well make I understand.
I don't think salaries should be posted (it doesn't make any difference)and if people want to it's their choice.

Dr fagbohun is requesting for his former patient to refer me to him before he can send his, otherwise he would charge me $300. So please i need someone that have used him to refer me. Thanks in anticipation. Email toyindunni@yahoo.com
It might be better and realistic for you to start shopping for another doctor or hospital or pay him the $300.

Hey hun, from my observations with them, the little swaddles are best for newborns because they're gentle on the skin. You can retain them for kids prone to rashes and the rest.

Little movers are best for babies who have started to crawl, cruise or walk, because it gives enough room to move around without being irritated by the diapers quickly when they pee or something.

I used to use snug and dry at night because it offers 12 hours protection. So with the exception of where baby poos at night I don't need to change diapers till morning. ( this diapers are for babies who have started to sleep through the night to save mummy the stress of constantly checking the diapers to avoid a rash)in my opinion oh. They serve the same function as the overnites.

So you can look at all the options if you're buying diapers in bulk to bring back here, but if not then you can just stick with little snugglers Abi na swaddles.

Naija huggies is okay too.

All the people that keep asking for referrals to Dr F. If you truly want to use him, why not pay the $300. And if you don't plan to use him, don't you think you'd have spoilt the reputation of the person who referred you, and the person's future referrals might not be worth anything?
My 2 cents..

Lmao cheesy na real shop, really I think it's best to just ignore posts like that, just like Mrsbw said why not pay the $300 and use him and stop asking for referrals, if you are truly prepared for this birthing journey $300 na small out of the remaining bills that will still be paid so why not pay it lipsrsealed
