secondly I saw the attached perspective you uploaded, you hinted that your design must/might correlate with it,okay,
remember perspective differs hence it originate from wall partitioning,and wall arrangement.there is no how your proposed design will look like the attached picture(perspective) only if the wall arrangement is same (both).
rendering it might give it another view,though mouth watering.

Okay adding one/more room to the existing Structure is more like Converting,since its not a fresh structure,
One (Architect/builder)who is good with CAD will visit the site with Pen,paper,and tape,

since you're (thinking) of adding a waiting room/ante-room for security purposes, in order not to allow a third party citizen having access to your living room directly! oh yes!

then I suggest you include it in your new design or you can evict it oh in your design, so as to have zero hiatus with The Town planner when registering the building plan!

1. Buy your materials, pay him for supervision and labour.
2. You can buy your materials bring in your labour pay him supervision only.
3. Allow him do eveything work out a payment plan with strict aggrement.

Note: 1,2,3 you hv to also supervise your self. Building a house is like taking your car to the mechanic if you not there you pay more. Whatever you buy see it use judiciously. All formular you need is on this forum.

He went off, still dat goods can still leave that location in the nite. You need to be watchfull. All our Engineer on this forum dont hv such records. All the question to their project is "is it Possible?" from materials to labour to duration of project, I hail them all they are doing a good job.

I need to buy even more wood to do pillars and lintel for my small BQ but in 3 weeks I'm sure that I'll buy even more wood to frame the german floor of the main house.

My calculations for 80 X 50 feet external and 35 X 15 feet internal is 30 pieces. Surely after the german floor mayhem, I should be able to find some of that 30 pieces plus the previous forest that I previously purchased that I can use to do the lintel and pillar on the BQ.

Sounds good?

If so what type of wood should I source?

All Brabus' atrocities are here for all to see so I don't see what gathering information to a private email will resolve.
If you have any issues with him take it to EFCC and let them call all clients here and other forums to testify.
