β The death over 300 people is causing serious concerns from President Buhari β The president embarks on a proactive measure following the deaths β Buhari sends condolences President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered an investigation into the clashes between herdsmen and four communities in Agatu, Benue state which left at least 300 persons during the past week, NAN reports. This was contained in a statement by Mallam Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant to the president, in Abuja, on Sunday, February 28. According to Shehu, President Buhari is in deep shock at the latest incident during the past week. βWe will conduct an investigation to know exactly what happened; the only way to bring an end to the violence once and for all is to look beyond one incident and ascertain exactly what factors are behind the conflicts,ββ the statement quoted the president as saying. Buhari further stated that all Nigerians must learn to live together as one, in peace and unity. βWe are all one nation and one people. βThere should not be any reason why Nigerians of any group or tongue cannot now reside with one another wherever they find themselves after decades of living together.ββ President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered an investigation into the clashes between herdsmen and four communities in Agatu, Benue state. Buhari also expressed his condolences to the government and people of Benue, particularly the people of the Agatu communities. He assured the affected communities that the government would do everything possible to ensure that no such incident ever occurred in their midst again. βOnce the investigations are concluded, we will act immediately to address the root of the problem,ββ he said. Naij.com recalls that about 300 suspected militants besieged Agatu community in Benue state last week. According to former Senate president, David Mark, who tweeted the incident via his official Twitter handle, an βarmy of militants has stormed the community. Days after, over 300 persons were confirmed dead following a siege on the community.

Since Adams investigation upon investigation . What measures have been done on millions of investigations by all the government before ? Is this the first time fulani herdmen are killing and invading villages? What are the outcome of previous investigations? Is high time Nigerians force the government to do their obligations . Tell me what can a citizens gain from his govt. Non even protection of lives not to take of properties they failed, social amenities; zero .
