Oga GAZZUZZ, I intend to restore my Orobo Camry i4, even though am not a mechanic, there is high possibility that I will replace the Engine, Gear, Radiator, Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, Shock absorbers,Oven Bake and some other unforeseen parts that I may not know since am not a mechanic. Like how much should I be looking at here? Thanks For your response

Radiator 14-15k
Fuel tank 25k
Fuel pump toks complete 5k
Kyb set 50-60k
Oven bake 60-65k
Unforseen 50k
Total 344- 370k

2016 will be a good year for technicians grin

Thanks for the various responses, I plan to begin the project by month end with 300k as budget. I plan to patronize Oga GAZZUZZ tho.

From the list above Its better you buy another toks of the same camry . My opinion

There's nothing remarkable about this specimen to worth this refurbishment, not a restore.

I hope that you reconsider but it's your money.

Why would you want to restore a 1996 Camry with 300k?

Better option would be to sell it in its condition at 250k, add the 250k to the 300k and get a good copy.

You only restore cars that are scarce or have intrinsic value.

Ordinary Nairaland search would give you even a 99 used Camry in the 600k range.

Op its better you sell this car as scrap than fixing it. It has multitude of problems.
You will get a good pencil light camry @600k or lower.
